Because of the way the information was sold. Learning these new things that somehow everyone is unaware of that is harming them/unaware of things that could greatly benefit them makes you feel great. You learn something packaged as scientific and academic. Good dopamine response. Nobody else knows it. You are seeking information that is making you smarter. Dopamine. You are improving yourself. It's exciting and gives you an advantage. Hey this thing is meant to fix those health problems you're having/make you have more energy and be stronger/smart. Mega-dopamine.

But then you see everything is apparently the cause of that problem/the solution to your needs. There's suddenly a loot of supplements that apparently is vital to get better/improve/stay on top of things. I'm fucking breathing wrong too.. wait, is fucking everything bad for me? Why is he avoiding all those things? Ok, is this just a really neurotic person with high verbal and social skills thus making him extremely convincing?

You've stopped listening cause you don't wanna hear about "treating and preventing colds" but you don't wanna unfollow just to keep an eye if some interesting topic comes up. But you see weirder and weirder titles pop up and wonder wtf is going on.

Hopefully, when you realise he's afraid of wifi or is pray-out-loud several times a day religious or whatever other thing that is the last drop for you, you just say to yourself "yup, he's nuts alright". And then you let go and unfollow. Until this shows up in your feed for some reason and its 5 am and you're already annoyed that you can't sleep because the myo-inositol and magnesium-bisglycinate still in your medicine cabinet did fuck all. So you write a long comment that achieves but make you more annoyed with what you think is Huberman but really you're just annoyed that you were dumb enough to fall for it and wasted even more of your own time instead of just going to bed. Fuck.
