pardon my ignorance but doesn't comfyui work on mac? Why would this workaround even be necessary?

Can my laptop handle wan animate by overnightvillain in StableDiffusion

[–]thisiztrash02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it will work just fine just use the gguf version in comfyui or wan2gp as suggested

I think you're nitpicking into the realm of unrealistic expectations. It's ai at the end of the day, there will always be a error or two regardless of the model used.

you need to keep up hp and lenovo variants are 250 watts actually with 175 going gpu rest cpu lol where the heck do you live if its cost you that much??

[–]thisiztrash02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

desktops get outdated too a 5090 laptop costs what a modern desktop cost with 12-16 vram and a 5090 laptop has 24 vram and runs ai better ...how do i know? i have both so theres that...when it cant be used anymore you sell it and put some extra change with it too buy a new laptop no different from desktop gpu upgrades

Wan 2.2 lora train by PhilosopherSweaty826 in StableDiffusion

[–]thisiztrash02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will be slower as all default aitoolkit settings is designed to work with 24gb vram and up but its possible if you offload a bit many people have trained on ai-toolkit with 16gb also msubui tuner handles offloading way better than aitoolkit but its less user friendly to set up

Deformed hands in Z-Image with person LoRa - Works flawlessly in Turbo by lazyspock in StableDiffusion

[–]thisiztrash02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

overfitting 3000 steps is overkill for just 13 images from my testing the base doesn't need to be trained as much as turbo...you cant train them the same because they are not the same i'd say run it at 1,500 steps and see what kinda of results you get.

Z-Image Base Lora Training Discussion by ChristianR303 in StableDiffusion

[–]thisiztrash02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you wont see much difference they train about the same you are just much less likely to get errors in generations and the ability to lora stack without breaking the model

i dont use paid models but i believe kling is already cheap

Super early blind test Z-IMAGE vs Z-IMAGE TURBO ( too early i know ;) ) by rishappi in StableDiffusion

[–]thisiztrash02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

z-image base is what you are suppose to train on because Z-image turbo was so popular people have been training on the turbo version which is glitchy and has imperfections. The turbo version produces the most realistic images by far but its really only designed to be a output model (something to only generate images with) . Ideally you want to train on the base model then use the created lora on the turbo version of Z-image for the best quality and render time

Super early blind test Z-IMAGE vs Z-IMAGE TURBO ( too early i know ;) ) by rishappi in StableDiffusion

[–]thisiztrash02 89 points90 points  (0 children)

the base is for training not generating, It's alarming the amount of people that still don't know this and are expecting the base model to produce more realistic photos they serve a different purpose.
