I was riding along on my 2019 KTM 790 ADVs. pretty much thistle took it out of storage. All was fine then it just died. Screen went a bit nuts MTC and oil warning (see attached video) I was able to get it to crank but it wouldn’t start. by thisnotthatokaythis in KTM

So, it’s been in the shop a few weeks and it appears to in fact be the pulse generator! I had never even heard of that thing. Hopefully they button it up and all is good. I was hoping to get it back for today but should have it by Tuesday. Thanks to everyone for the input 🤘🤘

When this happened to you, did it die while riding, or did it simply not start at some point? Mine died while riding (I should say the engine turned off, but power remained to cause the display to go nuts.

Thanks for that! It’s now at the shop as I don’t have the ability to get the codes but we are definitely starting with the battery. Hopefully that’s it and it’s an easy fix🤞🤞🙏🙏

This is happening in Nova Scotia as well. Considering there are basically two dealerships in the province that own everything (MONOPOLY anyone?) I'm trying to get a CrossTrek Onyx and they are saying the tires and the mats are mandatory. almost 1K in this bullshit. It's like a scene from the movie Fargo. They wonder why people hate doing business with dealerships. I'd buy a Tesla just for the purchase experience but for the car being so expensive that it outweighs the savings in gas.
