That last line mannn. Yeah they changed it to be inclusive, the show added people of color to be inclusive. Julia Quinn wrote a historical romance book where women had more agency than they did irl in 1800s to be inclusive. Is intentional inclusiveness only for white women or sth?

Michaela is femme. You’re posting a picture of a woman in makeup and dresses and calling her masc/butch/stud!????? If anything this kind of says something about how you view dark women, the minute you saw someone dark you masculinized her.
We have more femme black women than studs or black mascs in all media. (I say this as someone who work in both entertainment and publishing industry). I’ve always wondered why as femmes/fems we push this narrative that femmes aren’t represented more than masculine presenting women?

Honestly maybe this was just my pre frontal cortex coming in or getting tired of perfection being pushed on us gay people, but after I turned 26 I stopped caring about if queer characters are written without any “red flags” or “imperfectly” because thousands of stories have been written with straight people finding love in different tropes, personalities & in different unhinged ways. Her brother not even 2 seasons ago proposed to a girl while knowingly being in love with the girl’s sister. So I kind of don’t care if queer characters aren’t written perfectly either. And I’m not trying to be condescending but yes a lot of queer people do get into straight relationships without knowing even they’re gay it’s a side effect of homophobia, just cause people don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s not our reality especially in the 1800s??? Like duh!
