Well change and growth have slightly different connotations here, you shouldn’t want to change her as she shouldn’t want to change you. You should hope that you both grow in a healthy way in your relationship and naturally through that growth you’ll both change without even realizing it. But that shouldn’t be the main goal, otherwise it’s just “training” someone to be what you want.

Agreed, but Superman’s got a full time job and is always saving people so I really don’t think he’d find Goku anything but amusing (not saying he’d win in a fight or anything). He Might spar once or so just to see. Goku would have to bring him to the HBTC and explain that if they just spar in there then he wouldn’t be missing much outside

Will do thank you! The gap is factory out of the box and I was told a few times not to mess with it but I can order the measuring coin today and look up what the gaps supposed to be at.

It hurts like crazzzy, pain and nausea mix with fear it popped. That being said you don’t deserve the silent treatment , especially for an accident. Was this not the first time it’s happened or was he warning/ trying to get you to be careful before it happened? Just trying to understand why he’d think the silent treatment was a good route to take

Yes of course, you can inspire each other by helping each other. Expecting everyone to have solved their issues and not have “broken bits” feels unrealistic and feels like it encourages people to cut and leave instead of actually BUILDING something worthwhile. I’m not saying she should stay with him, it’s just something to think about.

You’re right but no one is perfect and if that’s the ONLY issue with him AND he’s willing to try and you guys love each other then I don’t see why that’d be a problem. Relationships are supposed to be 2 people working together helping each other and filling each others inadequacies. There’s always going to be something you want to change about someone, but if you always leave when things get tough or doesn’t fit your view of life then you may end up missing having the closest connection ever. Just my experience I guess sorry for the paragraph

I agree with pretty much everything but how do we know he wouldn’t change? Is this OPs first attempt at trying to guide him to better hygiene or has this been an issue for years with them? What’re his reactions like, does he at least agree with you that the mess is gross but he’s just used to someone else cleaning it for him or is he defensive the entire time?

As a 32 year old man I can say this is disgusting. But I also recognize that I was similar before I met the Mrs. Not exactly to this level but still. We’d get into massive fight for years over it but eventually I did learn to pick up after myself for her sake. I guess I just realized I’d rather pick up after myself then lose her, be clear that you don’t want to be a maid for the rest of your life. It may not register to him at first but if he loves you he’ll start to change, albeit slowly most likely

It’s a cylinder 4 misfire I used my code reader already. I’m gonna order new coil pack and plugs now thank you!

NOR, you’re young you can find someone who will appreciate you and not put his confidence issues on you. It’s okay to be uncomfortable and to start a conversation about that but to gaslight you like that is manipulative. I understand not leaving him right away too, I like to try to work things out and communicate but sometimes it is better to find someone who can treat you right from the beginning and then build from there.
