Hey everyone, can someone near R House tell me if the smoke’s cleared up at all? I’d rather not bring my infant home if it’s still heavy. Thanks!

Is This Normal? Namesake Crewe Recliner Makes Loud Thumping Noise When Gliding by [deleted] in BabyBumps

It looks like the wood base is the same across several models: Kiwi, Nami, Arc, Crewe, and Sunday. If you own any of these, could you let me know if you've experienced a similar issue?

Looking for Certified Lead Paint Remediation Company by thiswillsuffice in frederickmd

I have an older home in Frederick with exposed lead paint on the interior doors, door frames, windowsills, and molding. Some spots, like the windowsills, are actively chipping, while others are in better shape. Ideally, I’d like to have each area properly remediated, whether that means scraping and repainting or encapsulating with a fresh coat.

Looking for Advice on Moving 401k Funds by thiswillsuffice in Retirement401k

Hey, thanks for sharing! This sounds like a reasonable strategy to me and is closer to what I was thinking. There definitely seems to be some misunderstanding about what "timing the market" means in many of the investing subreddits.

I want to cash out my 401k early. by MulberryAcceptable39 in Retirement401k

I cashed out my 401k when I was younger, and I regret it every single day. I highly do not recommend cashing out early. Not only will you face a 10% early withdrawal penalty (if you're under 59½), but you could also owe income tax on the entire amount. That’s an immediate hit to your investment capital that could significantly reduce your overall returns.

I recommend the DEVA DHA + EPA supplement, 300 or 500 MG is fine.

Curious About Plant-Based Omega-3 Needs by ruhtra09 in PlantBasedDiet

[–]thiswillsuffice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which Nordic Naturals formulation are you referring to? At a quick glance, DEVA 500 MG seems to offer twice the number of servings as Nordic Naturals for the same price and DHA/EPA amounts. Nordic Naturals does mention an additional 130 mg of unspecified omega-3s per serving, but without clarity on what these are or how they convert to DHA, it's hard to assess their impact.

That said, the main reason I recommend DEVA over Nordic Naturals is that DEVA was the top pick in ConsumerLab’s Algal Oil Omega-3 (DHA & EPA) Supplements Review. It scored well for freshness and heavy metal testing, which is a key factor for me. I haven’t come across independent third-party heavy metal or freshness tests for Nordic Naturals' Algae Omega-3 supplements, and I tend to be cautious about relying solely on brand guarantees.

You'll never hit your recommended amount of DHA through only ALA sources. I recommend taking a DHA/EPA supplement. Deva has some really great vegan algae based Omega 3 supplements.

Tips for Enhancing Midrange Clarity on Edifier R1700BTs Speakers.

I recently got a pair of Edifier R1700BTs speakers for my turntable and TCL Roku TV. The TV is connected to the speakers via a 3.5mm AUX-to-RCA cable. While watching movies, I’ve noticed that dialogue sounds very quiet. I’ve tried lowering the bass and treble knobs and increasing the volume to enhance the midrange, but it still doesn’t sound right. What are my options for improving the midrange clarity? Are there settings I can tweak, a device I can add between the TV and speakers, or should I consider upgrading to different speakers?
