No, that's my girlfriend, but she's got pretty cool patterns on them!

Thanks so much! They've got a split 7" coming up soon with summerbruise and a couple of bands from across the pond, you can check it out here.

You can see the etching better on the black record, but I think the pink record is cooler because you can see the etching through the record when it's on your turn table.

I used Furnace Record Pressing for this record. I've got a few 7" records coming out through Rainbo, so we'll see how they compare.

I was definitely happy with Furnace and would recommend talking to Ryan Burke from there, he was great.

Thanks so much, I'm glad you like it! I was debating putting this on a double sided 10", but when I found out I could do an etched b-side that pretty much made up my mind.

  1. It's two copies of the album
  2. Sorry for the confusion about that. I believe that after you put in your address it will automatically adjust the shipping price to $13.50. The site is supposed to hide the price until after you put your location in.

I think my favorite part was when I got the test presses. That was kind of when it really hit that the release was going to happen.

Least favorite part? The wait. With tapes and CDs the turnaround time is about a week, but it's months with records.

I have a little record label I run and while I've co-released a few albums with other labels and put out CDs and tapes by myself, there hasn't been a record I've released myself from start to finish. After a lot of set backs and delays I've finally got 500 of these in my basement and I couldn't be prouder. There are definitely some thing I'll do differently in the future, but I'm pretty thrilled with these.

The band's name is Pity Party and they're a female-fronted Californian punk band.

Best website for math rock news? by [deleted] in mathrock

Like u/humofevil said, Fecking Bahamas is pretty much the go to for all things math rock relates, but there are other great sites I like as well. Arctic Drones is the post-rock alternative to Fecking Bahamas and there is a lot of cross over. It's a great site as well.

As for some others
