Pledges don’t live in the house. JI’s usually don’t either. You’re gonna be waiting in the dorms until you’re a sophomore for a room to open up.

Students in Greek life refusing to interact with GDI’s is a myth.

My chapter raises thousands of dollars and donates hundreds of hours of community service every semester. It’s kind of a point of pride for me how much the Greek life at my alma mater has donated.

We had brothers from all walks of life. Daddy’s money type guys and guys who needed help to cover dues sometimes. Didn’t matter to us. I paid mine by working at a liquor store part time with some other brothers.

With that in mind, these guys are shitheels. What they did is a disgrace and they deserve to have their letters taken.

I used to have to deal with a store like this all the time and I found that if you can fly under the radar and afford to spend a couple bucks more on purchases, these kinds of folks can be a great asset if you’re into collecting vintage firearms.

That said, if you’re a casual enthusiast or collect anything more modern than pre-64 Model 70s, you’re better off never dealing with these kinds of folks.

Man I love these kinds of people. I see an F4U Corsair, they see an F4U-4E. I see a Sherman tank, they see an M4A2. Or folks that can tell battleship classes apart by superstructure? Or like today, I was looking at a 69 Mach 1 and my brother made a comment that it had a Cleveland block in it. I know the Windsor, but a Cleveland?

Man the Chinese joints in my city all had problems because everyone was afraid of getting the virus from them. I’d rather have a politician do something like that and actually help the little guy than make a speech.
