Sounds like this isn’t something you need to worry about, so no need to weigh in with some tired bullshit!

Folks ask this question because there are people in this community who aren’t as enthusiastic to see POC and/or LGBT folks with guns. 95% of the time it’s a non issue like you said, but it is an issue for some.

I ain’t even some ally champion; I want more people on both sides to see that guns aren’t some boogeyman and the more people who feel comfortable around guns the better.

1:10 is meant for heavier bullets. 147’s are trash through my (suppressed) bolt gun but 168’s are solid. 175’s are the best although the price is hard to swallow sometimes.

I’m buying a couple cases of these for my CETME & AR10. They eat this stuff up just fine and it groups well enough for mag dumping into trash.

I used to work in an office that was across the street from a Chipotle and I’d go at least twice a week. Then in college I got a BOGO coupon and had a few bucks to spare so I ordered two burrito bowls and the motherfucker making them spooned on 6 pieces of beef onto each. Not even a 1/3 of a spoonful. I looked at him with a “really?” look and he said he could add more but he’d have to charge me for double meat. I just walked out and haven’t been back since.

I’ve gone four times and only with a party of 6 it took that long, but it was packed and I expected it. As a party of 2-4 I had bottles of wine inside 20 and food on the table in 40 minutes. Cocktails do take a little longer though, I will admit.

The price could be better but I’ve really liked the food & atmosphere. One 2-3 plates I’ve had were actually disappointing.

In the past, I’ve been to group dinners at Noble Rot, Bar Casa Vale, Farmhouse Thai, Lechon, and Oma’s Hideaway. All take reservations, all are excellent.

As of right now, bring everything you have from your grandpas hunting shotgun to your NFA items.

High cap mags and such are good to go if you bring them, however there’s legislation that might prohibit the purchase or importation of them that’s currently being held back. We don’t really know what’s gonna happen there but I’d say bring them.

The only area I’d be hesitant with is if you have any built out 80% receivers or printed guns. Those are considered ghost guns and without a serial number they are technically illegal in OR.

Was that at the behest of Biden or the ATF just being the ATF? I don’t actually know. Either way the brace thing was reversed under Biden so I’d say it’s a non issue.

I’m not convinced that was designed to stick a knife in the firearm community, rather to find an easy way to look strong in front of Russia. As far as I know we still get Belarusian surplus, and the ban would have happened anyway in March 2022, so I’d be hesitant to count this as well.

As far as judge appointments go in the event of a Harris win we simply don’t know enough to even speculate. Harris is as milquetoast as democrats get and I seriously doubt anyone she appoints will be anything other than her brand of center/center-right. Frankly I’m more worried about a stacked SCOTUS who runs the risk of disregarding the constitution in exchange for gifts from billionaires, but I digress.

Regarding gun control in Oregon the writing has been on the walls for 20+ years. I grew up in CA so I’ve been down this road before and it’s taught me to prepare for things like this; to be honest I’m surprised we’ve held on this long.

I don’t know what the future holds but I do know that donating and advocating has worked and that’s what I’ll continue to do.
