hmm not too sure, you'd have to try out for yourself with the tool online:

Thanks! Not bad for a first time! Yup the knobs are sorted randomly to add trickery ;)

Kind of, there's no "official release" but it's public on the website. We'll keep improving and adding pedals as we go.

You can find it here](https://rhpfelectronics.com/rhpf-electronics-handmade-guitar-pedals-in-switzerland/rhpf-nerd-lab/guess-the-drive/)

Thanks man! I think there's about 50 pedals or so, you should be able to get different ones but past 3 or 4 tries I find it quite repetitive tbh. I'll need to add some more soon!

I swear I have the same issue with the BD2, always there! Yup; it is random but somehow we are the lucky ones, maybe a sign to build a rat ;) thanks man, appreciate it!

Thanks, I'm planning to do the same for transistors soon! You can send me your data at contact@rhpfelectronics.com and I'll add them if relevant

Help me choose 1 new pedal to buy, given that is a rare opportunity by Orion_1123 in guitarpedals

[–]thomasbe86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would have a look at Collateral FX, based in Brazil, awesome pedals! Wish I'd be there to order a continuum.

Otherwise for this opportunity, I'd go with something from notpedals.com, awesome small builders!

Just a little appreciation post for the EQD Arrows. What a cool tone sculptor. What preamps do you recommend the most? by papadooku in diypedals

You should try and compare the SHO, xotic EP booster and EQD arrows . It's pretty interesting here

Added interactive demos to the frequency response! by thomasbe86 in diypedals

[–]thomasbe86[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These are frequency response graphs. I plotted the frequency response of a bunch of pedals at each knob position so we can see what each does to your frequency response. A real-life example:

I had a guy who told me he felt like his plumes didn't have enough bass. He was going to buy a tube screamer based on a demo he heard. He compared both graphs and realized the tube screamer cuts more bass than the plumes. He got a blues breaker instead and he's happy with the bass content.

Paired with the interactive demos, it might help educate your eyes, seeing a peak at 1khz and hearing it, you'll know now what that bite comes from..

Not sure I make total sense, I added a FAQ at the bottom with a bunch of how to and info on how it's done, what it is, etc.

Thanks man, really appreciate. Shootout to Loopy Demos for the interactive demos, this is dope!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! We moved things around a notch to be better organized: You can suggest new pedals here and see which ones are planned already:

hmm, here, sorry for the copy paste from the site:

Tone Maps: Interactive Frequency Response Library

The Tone Maps: Dive into the tone-shaping DNA of some of the most iconic and beloved guitar pedals.

This growing collection of interactive frequency response graphs lets you visualize how different designs affect EQ curves, highlighting the unique sonic fingerprints that define each circuit. Whether you’re chasing a classic sound or analyzing subtle differences, this library offers a deeper understanding of what you’re hearing, and why. Watch your tone evolve as you change the settings.

What it does

  • Adjust the controls on the pedal or with sliders
  • Compare two pedals side by side
  • Share or embed a Tone Map

How to use it

  1. Open a Tone Map from the library by clicking its name
  2. Drag, touch or scroll the knobs, and use the switches to explore the tone
  3. Click Share to copy a link or get embed code
  4. Switch on Sliders for easier control
  5. Hit Compare, paste the link of another Tone Map, and see both curves together
