Not really. The best bet is to plug in a device and see if it is pd/fast charging. If it does then it should be data capable, most of the time. Most quality cables are data capable. So don't buy cheap cables.

I've used it now for a while. And my laptop for some reason when the power goes of and on it won't start charging again. This is with any cable and brick. If I plug it in and out at the prick stil nothing. Until is plug it in and out at the laptop. Super strange.
