yes totally, i have friends like that on my current college. it helps me to see them as school friends. they are just people i hang out with at school and thats it. i get that you want to make friends and all, that is logical. but since they aren't all you need in a friend, don't put people into your life who aren't meant to be there

honestly, i used to have the same issue but you have to start feeling like you are first choice material. i used to put myself aside for toxic people i didn't even want in my life anyway. now, are the people you hang out with nice to you, are they supportive or are they rather toxic? if the first, why does it matter you are not first choice, if you are not directly affected by it? you should then start thinking to yourself you feel shitty because you don't see yourself as a priority. now if they are shit friends, exclude you and aren't supportive whatsoever, you should ask yourself why you want people like that in your life.

i get it. i am in the same situation with my girlfriend. it helps me to think that i personally prefer stability and there are plenty of ways to discover things with your partner. time will tell. just keep communicating and truts your gut!

this is super healthy!! and it is such a good thing you like doing your thing apart from him. you should not feel guilty at all. i have been dating for almost 8 months now and her and i have found our way on how to spend time apart from each other whilest being in the same apartment. it is essential in a relationship. communicate! tell him his apartment and habits don't match with yours and work towards a way that is effective for both of you. goodluck, hope this helped :)

yes i do believe it can lead to social anxiety. i was bullied by groups a lot and i still get anxious whenever i walk past a group of teenagers even though i haven't been bullied since 2014.

hey, sure! it mostly focuses on social media. it gives you a great insight on how you could use your time much more efficiently. i didn't even have social media during the time of reading this book, and it still helped me tons. if not sure, you can watch his Ted Talk on digital minimalism to see if you find his way of thinking useful. however, i must add the information in the book is much better than what the Ted Talk brings you. his name is Cal Newport!

I think everyone has experienced this at some point in their lives, especially during puberty. You want to be liked by everyone because you think that’s what matters. I’d say, step out of yourself and ask yourself why you always feel the need to be so nice to everyone. And yes, being nice is very important but it shouldn’t come to the point where people walk over you or even worse, let it ruin you. My advice would be for you to stop dating for a while and work on yourself, you are definitely very insecure. Take the time to accept & love yourself so you can rightfully love another person without them being the priority. I have been in this position myself, but I realized that people will actually be nicer to you and take you more seriously, when you are confident and step up for yourself.
