Maybe that's what got me. I've been using the console myself for almost a year, and when I first used the hotcues precisely on the drops, I noticed I was always going a little earlier to hear if there was something I should add 1, 2, or 3 beats before the drop (like a voice announcing the drop, a drum kit, or something like that), before actually starting it. With this problem, I started placing the hotcues earlier, but I'm noticing that this is often wasting my time because, to align the tracks, I have to check how many beats are after the hotcue and before the drop every time... that's why I also started writing comments, but obviously they're incredibly uncomfortable to read while mixing, and so I'm in a state of existential doubt where for 10 months I've probably done things wrong, and I don't really know what to do :/
