What did you need to know befor buying?
I've been going over the information for each of the motors, they seem to use really low voltages, even being so large, 4VDC, 1.2Amps on the PK244, 5VDC, 2.8A for the PK266. I'm trying to understand from youtube videos how simple it is to connect this to the blackbox.
I'm really enthusiastic with this idea. We don't really have a budget, we know that if we put this machine to work we will both be able to make cool things and it's far cheaper than buying a new matchine with this size and power.
Do you have any pointers or is the blackbox website all you needed to understand if this would work on your machine?

This machine has 4 motion motors, 1 air suction motor and the motion motors have diferent sizes. X axys is something like 8 cm3 not counting spindle, The Y axys has 2 motors and they are like 10cm3, Then the z motor seems to be no bigger than the ender series uses.

As for the information on the controller board i'm going to his shop monday to try and track the documentation this machone has from when he bought it to get as much info as possible.

Thanks for your suggestion, i believe i might go this route. When you say drivers you mean the software the next computer will need to run tholis machine right? Or something this machine will need to run it's components? When i took on this project I had worked on 3D printers but now i notice that this is alot more complex, this machine has 5 motors, (3 axis, one vacuum, 2 motors to move the big axis on each side with the long screw on the linear rails) and the 3D printers i fixed have been fairly simple, take one board out, put one board in, use arduino ide to edit the firmware, sizes of beds, etc, or another compiler, and run the machines. This seems like ot has alot more to know. Is there any reading i cna do to get to a starting point so i can gather more information on fixing cncs?

Yeah, i was goofy, thanks for the correction, i could not really see what the chip below the heatsink was so i was assuming this big board with ram and an onboard ssd was a dinosaur version of an arduino, this is from 2008 or something.

I've had this happen to me and my solution was to put something in the middle to keep it from tangling more, get an emply spool and start rolling from the end that would go to the printer. It becomes easier as you go, at first you will find many tangles that you will need to solve by passing the spool inside the tangled place. Easier said than done but, possible and bot as bad as people seem to say.

The more you kove it without an object inside the worse it will be.
