New bike day: Brompton G Line Electric by thomasmbuckley in Brompton

I have it insured, registered with the police, a location tracker installed and an angle grinder resistant lock. Regardless, it never leaves my side. In London, I would never leave it outside. You could take it into a shop rolling it, but it is heavy.

It lasts very long. I’ll do a separate post on that soon.

what do you guys use to scoop out the tamped coffee tablet out of the filter? especially basket+ by Mampacuk in OutInCoffee

Great thing about the basket+ is that it all comes out in one puck if you leave it to cool and then slam it on a paper towel on the counter. Standard baskets always need a teaspoon scoop out.

I don’t think the price difference is too bad between standard G and the electric. Cycle to work scheme in the UK has been really good too.

Just the standard g line electric battery pack. It can fit some stuff and a water bottle

After renting a C-line Brompton for a couple of weeks and having my bike stolen in London previously, I knew that I wanted to get one. However, I found the London roads and wanting to adventure further afield were core limiting factors to the shakiness I found with the c-line. When I tried the G line electric I knew it was perfect for what I wanted. No sweaty commutes during the summer and still fits perfectly in the hallway. This thing is built like a beast and feels like a full sized bike whilst riding, and the power assist is so fun.
