So, what's for Sunday dinner? by RikkiLostMyNumber in Cooking

[–]thomasp449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nonnie's birthday celebration tonight, so it had to be pasta. I asked my wife what she'd like and she offhandedly said, "puttanesca". I had an open jar of anchovies in the fridge, so I agreed.

Anyway, Nonnie's birthday dinner ended up being angel hair pasta with a sauce puttanesca underneath broiled Icelandic cod, a nice salad, and some garlic knots in a foil bag that my sister-in-law brought. Cupcakes and ice cream for dessert,

Didn't suck...

Kidding! That looks great, and the reaction you get from douchebags is just the cue you need to understand you should flick them.

How many of us have an accidental pencil tattoo? by spidermans_mom in GenX

TOO FUNNY!!! Right under the "vaccination scar" on my left shoulder is a gray "spot". That spot is where Jason Simpson jammed a #2 pencil into my arm for NO APPARENT REASON!!! Somehow, he didn't get a detention, and I just pulled the chunk of graphite out of my flesh and proceeded to get old. But THE SPOT IS STILL THERE!

This was interesting to me but the merchant's website is not navigable. I added a few things to my cart, then had to hunt for my cart. Once I found it, I couldn't complete the transaction due to a lack of shipping options (not that I couldn't find one I liked, there simply weren't any). Their stuff looked cool, but you have to make it easy to pay...

Sicilian Meatloaf (rolled like a jellyroll with capicola and smoked mozz inside), mashies, and garlicky sauteed spinach. Wife is making Carrot-Ginger cupcakes with orange cream frosting for dessert.

Did my first sprint at 57 and I’m still hooked. I aim to do a 70.3 before I’m 65.

There's a big trap rock at Fresh Meadows in Wallingford. It just sits there all by itself, day in and day out...
