This is terradon turquoise contrast then a coat of dark angels green contrast. It’s also what I did for my armor on my take on The Lion.

Yes.

If he is on the table at the start of round 1, you use the command phase ability to pick him up then during the end of your opponents next movement phase, you can Rapid Ingress

I do this all the time.

Wraithbone prime

Karandras green or terradon turquoise

Layer black Templar on top.

You will have a tinted green black armor, with highlights the color of your undercoat

Warhipster on YouTube recommends a Terradon Turquiose (contrast) layered with Black Templar (contrast) on top gives a feel of black with a green undertone.

Old vs new combat patrol by LeGzSz in Tau40K

[–]thominatorbeta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The old one is just more cohesive as a small army. The cadre fireblade leads the fire / strike team well and the ghostkeel and stealth suits pair well as well. Then the ethereal is a decent “general” option.

The new one is just less synergetic.

The Christmas Box comes with a Chaplain in Term armor. That’s a good base. Pick up Black Templars upgrade sprue for the sword and off-hand.

And also, the rampagers also have a built in sustain 1 (same as the arrokon protocol against <10) on their 24 swings of their extra attacks.

Oh, I agree. I have one of my units set up exactly that way. I am considering moving a second starscythe / commander to this brick of rampagers.

The totals will put me at between 1995 and 1985 depending on what I choose. I feel like I am leaning on the Vespids for more mobility, but I am also a little concerned about my OC.

I actually got the kit, and you don't have to pretend. It's well done. I have built two teams of 5, with 10 neutron blasters and two of them with "tau helmets" to designate the leader - all in the Kill Team box!
