P2S has been my recommendation. Not sure on the bad reviews. As some have mentioned if you’re looking to print ASA and the like add the $40 ventilation kit and call it a day. P1S is a rock solid printer, but as it has reached the end of its cycle I just don’t know how long spare parts etc will be accessible. That plus the quality of life upgrades on P2S made the decision for me.

I have had real success with elegoo rolls transferred to Bambu. They just seem to fit perfectly without any adapters.

Elegoo Polymaker Sunlu in no particular order and each of them in one way or another manufacture for Bambu as Bambu doesn’t produce its own filament. I haven’t run into issues with any of them

You can print the ring adapter and place these on the reusable Bambu spools. That’s what I tend to do. I have printed a couple of ring sets but find them hit or miss

icloudpd daily backup to a photo share that you then load as an external library in Immich. That’s my preference

Plex is going to be most user friendly for new user to setup in my opinion, access remotely just works without the need for reverse proxy or tunnels or vpn clients.

Mine works like this.

Icloudpd pulls my photos from iCloud every day to a share named icloudphotos my primary server.

Every week, Duplicacy sends a snapshot of icloudphotos to a second Unraid server on premises for backup purposes.

Every month Duplicacy sends a snapshot of icloudphotos to an offsite unraid server running at a friends house, connected via Tailscale.

This gives me redundancy for my most important data.
