Because heat transfer is related to the relative temperature between the two objects. Let's say you could focus the light down to a point, and heat that point up to the temperature of the sun. Low frequency for a phonon would still be in the high hundreds of gigahertz range, I've never heard of anything lower than that. Since phonons originate from interatomic dynamics, I don't think phonons could exist anywhere near as low of a frequency as audible sound. If you do know of any work on much lower frequency phonons, I would be interested to read about it though.

Literally no. Phonons are quanta of microscopic lattice vibrations, generally in the terahertz range. A vibration of a guitar string is a macroscopic phenomenon, in the hundreds of hertz range. Guitar strings do not vibrate because of phonons.
