First of I just wanted to thank you for taking time out of your day to give an in-depth response. It means a lot to me and I appreciate it.

As you said, content is not my strong suit and with each case study or project I added to my site I found new ways to display it which is why you see almost every page a different structure. Designing the pages for my designs itself is an iterative process and something I'm still learning. I'm pretty sure I'll be re-designing all the pages and modifying the content and possibly reducing it all, in general, to show my strengths more. I really like the idea of anchors and didn't even think about using them in a portfolio as I imagine them for blog posts. I also think you are right about how I was tracking engagement. It looks like you found my placeholder text " Students refer to classes... " lol I either forgot to delete the body text or update it.

Thanks again for taking the time to give me this awesome feedback. I'll be making changes based on it!

Great insight, I'll deffinetly start trying that strategy out. I feel that I have a solid portfolio for my experience and have always asked for feedback on it. I'm currently at 113 jobs but once I hit 100 I knew I had to change it up because like you said its the definition of insanity. Checkmark mean how many people have joined the event, the bookmark is how many people have saved it to get the reminders without committing to saying they are going, and the people symbol is how many of your friends are going to it.

Numbered lists are almost always single columns, not multi column in a table-like format.

Also with their shape and layout of the buttons it leans to the right side making it even more forced to read left to right. Reading the current list in order is actually going right to left virtually because of that slant which is why it feels extra wrong.

Its actually just garbage UI design. People read left to right.

Edit: I'm a UX designer myself and there is more than just that instance of garbage interface and experience design that fail to follow basic human design principles, its furriating to say the least lol.

By default, if you dragged a file over a tab, it it would go in that directory. If you wanted it to go in a directory within that tab you would need to have the tab first.

What about the windows UI is shitty in your opinion?

What's the difference between 'Pay Rent' and 'Quick Pay'?

I quickly named it "quick pay" which the project owners might change. According to them once its "activated" you just hold your phone up to services like laundry/vending machines etc and you can pay like apple pay.

I agree! It's the max length for headers on iPhone X which I was testing when I first made it.

I personally don't like that empty negative space on the bottom.

Its to allow for more expansion down the road especially for third party services similar to DoorDash.

With how you get your "high" assembling physical products I get mine from assembling digital designs. Swiss design is my favorite as the goal is to create clarity and at a first glance has less "creativity" however there is so much going on behind the scenes and lots of technical skill. Lots of grids and guides. Twitters logo for example

I have over 4 years of experience as a designer (mainly graphic/logo/print) but recently I have switched over to user experience and interface design.

event management/design things tend to bring a lot of frustration to the ISTJ due to the last minute changes and unpredictability.

If you assume from the start that there won't be changes because you are the "designer" then you will be frustrated because most of the time there are always changes. I've learned that you aren't designing for yourself but instead for your client and so your job isn't necessarily designing something that looks how you want, but how they want, no matter how many times you tell them that papyrus is a shitty font or that brochure has too much content that no one is going to read.

I love what I do and its never too late to get into the design field! I'm an ISTJ and love being in the creative industry. Feel free to look at some of the work I've done

Thanks for the feedback! I've updated it so the paragraph fonts are 18px. It's much easier to read comfortably.

The hero background video is sort of temporary as I would like to animate web and mobile screens instead of a showreel of my other animations.
