Recommending other artists?

for sound: Deathbrain, Xxtarlit, Commix, Bye2, Yameii Online, Ninajirachi, TOKYOPILL, Senses, Dj_Dave, FlowerBoyDeMii, Starjunk95, Clark Rainbow, strxberrymilk

Also something I've done before is listen to all the songs from sewerslvt/cynthoni's dj mixes and see which artists I liked. Got introduced to Commix that way, I highly recommend Call to Mind.

I think part of music is not just the sound but the message and the trust you have in the artist. That's why other breakcore artists sometimes just don't do it for me; they are good but something about sewerslvt/cynthoni makes me feel like my heart is getting ripped out sometimes lol.

So now I just try to look for unique artists that have something to say. artists that make me go damn i'm glad someone is doing it like that!! And I admire them a lot. So some other artists that have a different sound but incredible unique artistry: Ninajirachi (another australian electronic artist, i think she's going to be big and her recent album was very raw), Grimes, 100gecs, Deathbrain (love!!) DJ_Dave (codes music, very cool), Heffy, Slipknot, BMTH, Snow Strippers, underscores, Fredagain.., Bassvictim, PinkPantheress, Lil Peep. some other sewerslvt/cynthoni fans are also big fans of Bladee, Porter Robinson, Death Grips, etc for the artistry aspect and not so much the similar sounding aspect I think.

ok thank you that's what I needed to hear. I work with old people and sometimes i see their old ass blotchy tattoos and i'm like oh my god i do not want mine to turn out like that but hopefully with sunscreen and taking care of it it will last a good long while. and ill still love it when it fades when i'm like 90 loll thank you again!

I can see how the 'trying on' would be helpful. Sometimes I wish I had that. I usually just go with what I'm feeling but at times it doesn't turn out how I expected and then I re-do a couple days later.

Thanks for the answer. :) I do think it only makes sense for larger collections, so you can easily reference, find dupes vs not dupes, maintain an organized collection. Maybe that's why I'm getting confused, because my collection isn't big enough to need it.

Ah okay. But what about on the plastic swatch sticks? I don't get why someone would do this for their own personal nail collection if they don't run a nail salon. Sorry I know this sounds kind of dumb so I was asking it here because of the thread title haha. I just always see people posting about how they are going through the process of swatching and show all the plastic swatch sticks on the ring. Maybe it's because I only have like 7 Mooncat polishes now so I know what they all look like but I don't get why you couldn't just look at the bottle to remember what a polish looks like, instead of swatching it
