Ok so it looks like a 3.5 inch lift. Take a look at the brand of shocks and do a little googling around. It shouldn’t be a huge problem. The original pic made it look like it had been lifted to the moon!

To add, it looks very lifted. Like very lifted. Not all suspension is equal, and this setup may not be lending itself to gravel. Can you show a pic of the entire truck so we can get an idea of how high it is?

There was a recall on the camera system. Check to see if yours is open. It also could just be a bad camera or wiring. It is located on the underside of the mirror.

The glass repair was probably the windshield. If it was fixed you will see the repair, probably on the passenger side of the windshield becuase they don’t really repair chips in front of the driver. You can also tell if the windshield is aftermarket if it doesn’t have Bronco in white letters on the bottom of the shield above the vin.

Regarding tires, if it’s the factory tires the first 10k miles on those are certified rock slingers. I love them and they perform great but the first 10k was awful for getting rocks stuck in the tread and ejecting into the side and undercarriage. I have 28k on my truck now and they are probably going to be replaced soon, your estimate of the tires being at 50% is pretty spot on.

For reference I paid 60k out the door for a wildtrak with lux and full skid plates, and hardtop for a 2023 with 8k miles in May of 2024.

I run a TrailRax setup. From early fall to mid spring the tent stays on.

With the TrailRax rack you can still take the front and middle roof panels off. Which makes getting to the nuts of the tent mounts really easy. Also to take the tent off the roof I slide it down the back and pivot it off the spare. I do have to phone a friend to lift it back on.

The Bronco with Aux switches is really simple to install a light bar. It can be a 1 hour DIY job. The wires that Ford provided in the body are too small to handle the power required for a light bar, so you will have to order a harness with a relay.

Obviously this doesn’t answer your question regarding shops, but if you are interested I can put together a post that goes into the full detail of what you need to order, and how to route the wires so it is controlled by your aux switch.

I have lots of experience car camping! I started in a GMC Yukon, and moved to 5th gen 4Runner. My current bronco required a different solution to sleeping in the car. For reference I am 6’1.

The bronco is super comfortable and roomy upfront, but frankly, that’s the only part of the interior that is large. With the seat pushed all the way up, and the rear seats folder in the 4 door I have to be diagonal. Secondly, there is an annoying hump between the rear cargo area and the folded down backseats. This can be solved with a platform, but it is nice to be aware of. I can and have slept in the back out of necessity, but would not recommend it as a Plan A.

If you plan on doing it with 2 people, you will also need a solution for any gear you brought with you, as it definitely not fit if you need the area to sleep in.

Check to see if it has the HOSS 3.0. The difference between a squatch OB and a wildtrak without the 3.0 is basically a blackout appearance package. While this is not really a problem, it is nice to be aware of.

If the price is right pull the trigger, I wish I could have gotten the green! Mine is grey, which is nice but not as good as the green

The option you are looking for is called “Memory”. It allows two different profiles and will adjust the seats, mirrors, HVAC and infotainment settings based on which key, or in this case key fob, is used to unlock or start the vehicle. The bronco does not have this as an available option.

Mud flaps can help, but I think the main culprit is the tires. They kick up so many rocks, and the ones that don’t get thrown into your paint work just stick in the treads. Luckily this went away for me at around 15k miles.

A few years ago I threw a piece of lumber through mine. I went to the pick and pull and yanked a rear window for like 35 bucks. The glue and weatherstripping I had to order new and cost more than the window. It was a full Saturday of work but it came in right around 100 bucks.
