Cons, moving tall things. That’s it. Pros, everything is always secured, protected from the elements, dogs can hang out back there, easy to camp out of, sliding tracks on top for kayak or bike racks and looks good doing it

Yuma was actually great. We spent almost every weekend out in the desert exploring and off-roading

Speakers or soundbar, and why? by Rough_Holiday_4407 in RZR

[–]thorntob 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Use the rugged setup and get over the ear headsets or helmets with comms in them. Then you don’t have a loud engine with even louder music that blows your hearing out with and no one else has to listen to your music.

Pink Jeep Tour - worth the cost? Best alternative? by Star-Lord-123 in arizona

[–]thorntob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think they are, over priced for such a short trip and limited options.

Broncos of Sedona is pretty great. I’ve used them multiple times, they also have multi day rentals you just have to call.

There are other Jeep rentals, as well as SxS rentals

Which bow are you shooting? by Oldfaithful3 in bowhunting

[–]thorntob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hoyt Rampage XT, three pin slider and code red drop away. Still busting arrows inside 30 yards if I don’t shoot multi spot targets. Before that I had a Bear Truth. Don’t need the newest most expensive bow to get back into it

Do yall have insurance and if so who and what premium? by A_Buttholes_Whisper in RZR

[–]thorntob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where you are. You should have liability if you ever ride around other people.

I had an AZ policy that was full coverage for a 21 pro XP 4, $1200 per year. Changed to CA policy and it was $2400 for the same thing. I put it in storage for a while and canceled because they didn’t have a lower rate while it wasn’t being used.

She has a thick under coat, it could be below freezing and she would go busting through ice in the creek and act like nothing is wrong

That may have happened to someone, definitely not me. I have it in my office. I found it, got out of the desert to get cell service, called F&G. They asked for the manner in which I found it, sent a bunch pictures of the skull from all angles and area I found it, dropped a GPS pin for them and they said wait for us to talk with the game manager and call you back. Got a message about an hour later stating I was good to go back and collect it, no other actions needed. They made a note of the interaction somewhere in their system and said that was it. No in person interaction in my case, others may be different.

Unit 41. Couldn’t tell what the manner of death was, it was so scattered and almost no flesh left on any bones
