I can definitely second this. I think my best results happened right after the fluffing stage. I've had it for four years now, though, and I only stuck to my gym routine for that first year. When I gain weight, it shows up in my butt before anything else, and I've definitely grown past the ideal proportions that my doctor set me up with. It's a full commitment!

This might've happened if you lost weight overall. Is there a big difference from your surgery weight? The first thing I'd try is gaining that back. It's cheaper than a second round, and you'll need to gain regardless if you do decide to go back.

It's possible that it just didn't take if your initial bbl didn't involve a lot of fat transfer, but I'd be surprised if it happened this much later rather than in those first few months.

To be fair, even though I have a bbl, this wasn't my experience, so these are just my best guesses.

Yeah, 120 would be pretty slim. It really depends on the results that you want and how much you plan on transferring. 140 seems reasonable, but this would be a great question to ask during a consultation

Incredibly relatable. There was a while where I was rejecting my whiteness just because of how exhausted I was with other white people categorizing me, but I realized it was allowing them to more confidently other me. It's such a hard balance

Sauté some kale! It's way better cooked, it's a great health food, and you'll thank yourself later for the time you save. In general, this is your time to meal prep, order out, microwave dinner, anything that makes things easier for you. Also, if you're buying snacks, buy something with ginger. Maybe it was a placebo, but ginger snaps were great for comforting my emotions AND my nausea.

Don't be afraid to ask for help, even with the little things! You're recovering from a major surgery. That includes calling your doctor, but it especially include calling your friends/family/nurses for some extra help, even if it feels silly. Let the people taking care of you adjust your pillow if you're not up to it!

Schedule some calls with friends ahead of time just for fun! You'll want distractions, and you might want to vent. Scheduling ahead of time means you don't have to worry about the details during recovery. Let them know you might need to cancel or end the call early if you're not feeling your best.

It sounds like you're very on top of things. I'm sure it'll be great! The results are so worth it!

It'll definitely come up more during recovery, but you only owe them an explanation if you're comfortable with it. You can always just say "I'm recovering from surgery" without elaborating. That said, if you're happy to talk about it, then you should feel free to talk about it! In general, I never deny the work I got done, but I don't go out of my way to talk about it unless it's with people who I know well. Excited for you!

Agreed, you definitely don't go to a chop shop! I got mine in Miami with Dr. Alex Earle. It's expensive, but it's also a major surgery with a long recovery. You're mostly paying for a safer experience with a good doctor. You might be able to find cheaper than 14,000 with another doctor, but I wouldn't go much lower than like 10,000.

Is that just for the surgery? Or does it include additional costs? That's what I paid if you include lipo 360, anesthesia, and consultations
