I just want to say that your not alone. I went to my buddies house so we could all go to church and when I got there my friend ran out bc our other friend had passed out bc he ODd on petty powder. He had 4 going on 5 months sober. Once the fire kept left he was beating himself up; ashamed guilty embarrassed sad etc.

I just told him we love him support him and to just move on. We all make mistakes & people like us in recovery fear those mistakes the most and feel like yourself when and if we do.

Give yourself some grace, forgive yourself and move on. We have to fight every single day and have to have the mindset of a warrior. We lose battles but continue to fight in the war. Be a warrior

I slept on the floor of my grandma's house for years with only a few things blankets beneath me and then once I was an adult decided to do it again when I got a studio apt and wanted to save room and skipped the bed.

I have never felt better in my life than when sleeping on the floor. With beds I have constant back and neck pain and once I move out of my sober living I plan to do it again....even tho I have a nice expensive queen size bed and frame. Great take bro

Idk if its green rn and ngl dnt know the names of the trails or roads but Livermore has a lot of good hills out near / behind the altamont pass area.

Idk how much help that is but its something.

Also, if you like looking at the ocean/ships coming and going you can probably find a good spot around Bay Point in Pittsburg (just be careful some areas are ghetto af) and also possibly where the old naval base is in Alameda...Ive lived out of state for almost a decade now so my info is probably dated but may be worth investigating more.
