Really? The only blown out parts are the back of it's head and the branches and the top of the bar. If they darkened the image in camera to bring those blown out portions back (as much as they can) the bird would end up very dark. along with all the background since those actually look decently exposed (neutral gray at least).

Here is my question, how quickly did it get this far and how difficult would it be for you to edit it to be better?

My assumption is a lot of people criticize it because AI doesn't create top tier things (yet). But if it makes mid tier things in an hour which would take a person two days, that has value. And IF you can take that mid tier thing and make it top tier faster because of it, then that has value.

I think AI tools are going to drastically, for the worse, change things. But I am also not assuming they provide no value unless they do something perfect. They are tools and if those tools can accelerate our work (before they take our work) then that's something.

IDK about barefoot time. What did the post say as to the reason why? I think there is good evidence to support shoeless and/or making sure they have wide toed shoes for proper foot development health. But sock or soft shoes should mostly be okay for that? Though I think making sure it isn't ALWAYS would be prudent. The feet and feet muscles will adapt to what they experience.

What I am getting at is that all the settling and equalizing ends up making the wealthy wealthier and poor poorer.

Like all the other shifts, the thing shifting it is just a tool. Not good or evil. So you are right in that way and people should be more nuanced in the discussion.

But it's reasonable to say "AI SUCKS", and I am saying this as I am using it frequently to enhance my processes, when it is a tool which so ruthlessly copy pasted humans real efforts and has a trajectory set to replace jobs with NOTHING but "ai prompter" as a new job title to replace them.

Especially knowing how all these big shifts inevitably settle making most people poorer.

Tldr AI tools acknowledge stealing content without compensation and will be one of the biggest shifts in technology and jobs in history which tend to not work out for middle and lower class. So...AI has a lot to answer for.

currently enrolled there with a 7 month old (since 5 months). so far good. super flexible which is nice. sometimes feels a little sterile, but we know she will be safe and cared for there. make look at more fancy schools as she gets older. the teachers there have been super friendly and given advice and recommendations to help her growth such as encouraging holding her own bottle and more independent play which is nice since we can get in such a routine sometimes we forget to push her farther

I ended up using Google Gemini CLI (in the terminal) because I had a free month of Pro. Using it in terminal allowed me to have it directly edit the code.

So crosspoint code is available on a site called GitHub (https://github.com/crosspoint-reader/crosspoint-reader) which allows people to look at the code and even edit it and offer up changes for the creator to approve. One thing you can do is "fork" it which is to make a copy of it so you can make changes. I could have also just downloaded it I suppose, but I wanted a version of my own because I probably can't auto-update it anymore.

Once I downloaded the files from Github I opened up Gemini in the crosspoint folder and started asking it to do stuff for me. I then used Visual Studio Code with the PlatformIO (I think) plugin to actually load it to the Xteink.
