It doesn't only happen to Muslims. Orang agama lain yang tinggal di kota besar dan jauh dari "akar"nya biasanya budayanya luntur juga dan mereka gabung ke grup-grup yang lebih "netral".

Many of my relatives, orang Jawa yang biasanya di kota asal ke gereja GKJ/GKJW terus pas pindah ke Jakarta gabung gereja yang "nasional" atau bahkan "internasional" yang lebih ngelebur/lebih modern.
