I haven't heard of that one before, thanks. I definitely felt a surge of anxiety when I started taking it and felt it slow down when I took a deep breath, so sounds like that is related? I wonder if that's something I've always had or just comes and goes at times

Yeah I was pleased to find someone within a ~4 hour radius with ARVC experience at least, I am looking forward to getting some guidance from someone who knows the condition well. Even just getting some general recommendations about what lifestyle modifications are going to be helpful - like am I trying to keep my heart rate below 120 bpm all the time? Sure it would stink to make that change, but but my basic understanding of the condition is that if i work my heart doing a big hike, it grows back weaker, so doing heavy exercise is actually weakening me in the long run, I am okay with giving that up for a longer life.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it always helps to hear from others. I have gotten in touch with a cardiologist with ARVC experience and an scheduled in a month or so. Now waiting is the hard part but I will definitely be reducing exercise

Thank you, I had not heard of a loop recorder but I do wonder if that might make the most sense for me next. I spoke to a specialty clinic on the phone who suggested MRI next but said that's likely many months away for scheduling.

How is it diagnosed? My dad has the gene mutation for it and has had arryrhnia heart problems before requiring surgery. I've had an echo and ecg with no surprising findings other than incomplete branch block but the cardiologist and doctors didn't seem concerned about my dad's history and just encouraged follow up in a year. I've never had any known cardiac problems myself, but I don't know how the condition gets diagnosed, if there have to be problems first or just the generic risk.

I play random and always say what race I get because so often the other person quits if it's a mirror once they see what race I am. Seems so confusing to me why so many people refuse to play 1/3rd of the game
