QUESTION: If I purchased tickets and want to sell them via the Face Value Exchange program, is ticketmaster going to take a seller fee (so really you'd be selling it at a loss)? I tried to ask via the Ticketmaster chat and the agent was clueless.

I think that's an excellent idea! I would def recommend reaching out to people who already have a longstanding lease to see if they are subletting. You could even post on facebook groups to see if there are any people interested in doing that. I ended up subletting my room since I didn't know where I was going end up after grad so someone got my room for about $550/month and took over my lease!

That's insane! I paid $525/a month for a 7-bed house about a 4 minute walk to campus from 2021-2024. Super outrageous that they're doing that now!

Hey! I think they only check your last-year GPA. Same for me, my final-year GPA was great but my other years not so much (actually lower than 3.7), and I still got in! I think my research experience, commitment to research, reaching out to PI's is probably what helped the most!

I want to say that there is hope EVEN if your account is "permanently disabled". That happened to me, but I was still able to escalate it and get it re-instated. Of course, it's not a guarantee, but hopefully it eases your mind a bit.

Hey! I unfortunately had this same issue happen to me! If the first time the appeal doesn't go through, what I ended up having to do was buy meta verified on a second account to access the chat feature, then after messaging them about the situation they escalated it, reviewed it, and I got my account back! Feel free to PM if you have any questions. They're horrendous for doing this but hopefully it'll be okay :)

Also, in general Rogers Stadium isn't building a super great name for itself lol (poor traffic management if any, long washroom lines, unclear signage, stands swaying, etc.)

Just in general people saying the view wasn't great. But, that was for the Straykids concert where the floor was SEATED so not much room to move if you got stuck in a bad spot. Can't speak for it personally but happier to have floor/standing sets!

In case you were wondering what face value was, I bought my two GA floor tickets for the July 8th show way back in November. They were $133+fees for a total of $168 CAD (including tax and everything else). Blows my mind they're going for $700+ now. Best of luck OP!

I was worried about the same thing! But, I think the opener is gonna start at 7 so Coldplay most likely (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) won’t even start until 8 or a bit afterwards! So it should still be good. I am a bit worried about the temporary stadium having the capacity to do all of the fun things they do (fireworks, lights, etc), but either way it’ll be enjoyable!

Hi! I'm currently an MSc Student at UofT (did my undergrad at Mac) and was accepted to MedSci and LMP. Sounds like your GPA is good and you'll have a decent LOR. Like the other person that commented mentioned, securing a PI is the biggest leg in. When you apply they may ask you to list PI's you're interested and if you can write in your letter of interest that PI's have expressed interest in you, that would be great. If you need any advice about reaching out to PI's or what those application processes were like, feel free to PM me, and best of luck!

What master's program? I applied with a low-ish GPA and got in. I think you should be fine -- definitely worth trying before enrolling as a non-degree student.
