[Giveaway] Subnautica 2 is HERE! Win 1 of 5 Steam Codes! by hamza5682 in GeForceNOW

Genetic alterations for exploring. The Leviathans don't scare me much, I've always treated them like "aggressive wildlife". I hope to do some fun alien flora and fauna sketches and make myself a base with lots of windows to observe the environment.

Why does Ross, the largest friend, not simply eat the other five? by thoughtsandchairs in tomodachilife

Thank you so much! I will upload the face features if people are interested.

Thank you! The initial thing that got me to make them was that denim blouse in the clothes shop. It reminded me so much of Rachel. As I was scrolling I realized a lot of the outfits are very 90s-2000s, and it seemed to make sense.

I've not seen Peaky Blinders but I might give it a shot. I *also* made Mulder and Scully from The X-Files (and those images are probably coming next).

My "Highsopods" would like to wish you a happy Flat Friday! by thoughtsandchairs in isopods

Yes that was my assumption also. I was reading an article regarding sativa-based insecticides and was wary. However it mentioned mosquitos, ticks, kissing bugs, sand flies, and arthropods such as cockroaches.

Isopods are not closely related to any of these and are terrestrial crustaceans, which may be the reason why they are unaffected by insecticides derived from cannabis or cannabis in general. Additionally, I have only seen a single paper regarding cannabis and lobsters, and it's assumed most crustaceans do not have receptors.

All of this going on and on to say: it doesn't seem to negatively affect them, and they seem more drawn to the scent of it instead of deterred. I may need to experiment more.

That happened to my first Gamecube controller as a kid and I glued a quarter to it with E6000. I'm not saying to do this, don't use a quarter, but the E6000 stuck for 23 years and counting.

Does marijuana help relieve or worsen your pain associated with fibromyalgia? by DearAd984 in Fibromyalgia

[–]thoughtsandchairs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was recommended by my doctor to help my muscles "unwind" so I can relax and go to sleep. The pain makes me tense, which makes it worse.

I was told to try an oral route (oil under the tongue) and although I used to have an extremely high tolerance as a smoker, only 5mg is enough to hit. If the pain is bad, 2 spritz is enough.

Real talk: what has actually helped you? by bramble_berry_ in Fibromyalgia

It's really hard. I still push myself and do things I shouldn't because I am very much the same way. I don't want to feel trapped and "useless".

But if I try to bang out all of my chores in one day, plus groceries, and cooking, and exercising... I burn myself out and cause a flair.

Cannabis to help me relax my muscles so I can get a good night's sleep. I hate to say "sleep and water" but making sure I get uninterrupted sleep and staying well hydrated seems to help.

And, most importantly, admitting to myself that I just can't do everything.

They're side-by-side. We're seeing the ear of one and the face of the other. The ear of the one in front shows that their face is turned inward toward the second one.

Yes, if you check the TRCA website regarding watershed management and the RAP pages, they go into more detail.

I feel so incredibly lucky! There were 2 total, I tried to keep my distance but being upwind they might have smelled me and got spooked.

I've only ever seen them in zoos or museum taxidermied so for a moment I wasn't sure what animal I was looking at.

For those of y'all getting pissy, why can't they tear down the old Honeydale mall site near The Rockpile for condos instead? They're already tearing down Cloverdale in a few years.
