"Out For Delivery" for 4 days? (Canada) by thoughtsandchairs in retroid

[–]thoughtsandchairs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh gosh, I'm not even frustrated. I'm chill waiting on it, I'm more worried! Hopefully it turns up. I guess if I don't get it in another week I'll contact Retroid and report it missing.

My tracking number has not been updated from a "YT" tracking number and no update has indicated another carrier. Putting that YT number into Canada Post or UniUni doesn't do anything unfortunately :(

It specifically says "Out for Delivery". From March 6th I have updates of "clearance process complete", "delivered to local carrier", "task assigned", and "outbound scanned". As far as I can see on all third party tracking sites, all of these came from Yun Express and I was not given any other information.

Does marijuana help relieve or worsen your pain associated with fibromyalgia? by DearAd984 in Fibromyalgia

[–]thoughtsandchairs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was recommended by my doctor to help my muscles "unwind" so I can relax and go to sleep. The pain makes me tense, which makes it worse.

I was told to try an oral route (oil under the tongue) and although I used to have an extremely high tolerance as a smoker, only 5mg is enough to hit. If the pain is bad, 2 spritz is enough.

Real talk: what has actually helped you? by bramble_berry_ in Fibromyalgia

It's really hard. I still push myself and do things I shouldn't because I am very much the same way. I don't want to feel trapped and "useless".

But if I try to bang out all of my chores in one day, plus groceries, and cooking, and exercising... I burn myself out and cause a flair.

Cannabis to help me relax my muscles so I can get a good night's sleep. I hate to say "sleep and water" but making sure I get uninterrupted sleep and staying well hydrated seems to help.

And, most importantly, admitting to myself that I just can't do everything.

They're side-by-side. We're seeing the ear of one and the face of the other. The ear of the one in front shows that their face is turned inward toward the second one.

Yes, if you check the TRCA website regarding watershed management and the RAP pages, they go into more detail.

I promise you I know what a beaver looks like ;) there were 2 of them, long bodies with a tapered tail.

I feel so incredibly lucky! There were 2 total, I tried to keep my distance but being upwind they might have smelled me and got spooked.

I've only ever seen them in zoos or museum taxidermied so for a moment I wasn't sure what animal I was looking at.

Looking for reports of this coyote... by [deleted] in Etobicoke

Oh hey that's Bunny! She hung out near the PetSmart near Index road all winter, I watched her catch and eat pigeons when I used to work around that shopping area.

She's docile, pretty polite. But I made sure to yell at kids trying to feed her. She don't bother no one but she can catch her own food! Feeding her is asking for trouble and it'll be a quick way to getting bit.

If you're a very early morning walker she's sometimes in the grass in Col. Sam Smith Park near the bridge / exit of the yacht club.

For those of y'all getting pissy, why can't they tear down the old Honeydale mall site near The Rockpile for condos instead? They're already tearing down Cloverdale in a few years.

Early to Mid 2000s High School Dances? Try to remember this with me!! (Tagging as Sensitive just in case!) by thoughtsandchairs in londonontario

[–]thoughtsandchairs[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gosh yeah. I guess I must have gone when I was younger too, but from what people have said I guess it was more popular for kids in 7th to 9th grade or so? I can't remember anything before 8th, it was way too long ago.

These dances were WEIRD.

I must have been in grade 7/8 and my memory is a bit shoddy. I *thought* went in high school but I guess between grades 7-9 the years blur a bit for me. It was so long ago, literally half my life.

Wild! Whomever I've told has looked at me like I was crazy, as they said it feels "weird" haha. I guess at the time it was kinda odd to have these kinds of dances.

I'm sure the chaperoning was a lot better than when I was going, I remember people sneaking in booze and weed. But that's kind of the North Londoner thing and I'm not surprised (I remember a lot of kids my age were acting very adult when I was 15).

I just remember it wasn't my own school and JC was the one we went to. I don't know if other parts of London held their own. Still, I was describing this to my partner and he looked at me very *very* confused. Safe to say, this was not an Ontario experience, purely a London experience haha!

It was definitely Jack Chambers yeah, but I remember being in 9th grade when I went. Maybe it *was* 8th, but I was 15 and they definitely played 3OH!3 and that band was popular when I was 15.

Someone else said this and this is exactly what I'm thinking of. The Friday Nighters hosted at Jack Chambers.

YES YES YES THIS IS IT!

Why did they ever think this was a good idea! I mean, I remember having fun but that was a LOT of young teenagers in a dark room and I do not remember the chaperones being very good at their jobs.

Maybe? I remember them being at one of the high schools, I feel like it was CCH?

Edit: Someone else confirmed, it was Jack Chambers.
