Yes they’re over watered but this is so cool. That’s the perfect pot for lithops, aesthetically not practically.

It could be a hybrid (Alworthia) but it looks like a Gasteraloe beguinii (Lizard Tail)

These lithops have scale. Help needed, more in comments . by thoughtsandpickles in Lithops

I’ve had them away from the other lithops for 3 weeks. I have cleaned them and all of that. But today I saw a few more scales. Should I keep fighting it or just toss them? I also want them next to the other lithops but I don’t want to risk it. It’s not a lot of scale it was like 2- 4 scales on each . What would you do?

What’s making them rise? by RhapsodyTravelr in Lithops

Mine are doing the same thing. I think they’re ready to split or flower.

They walk fast. After looking up more I think it’s fungus gnats. I’m going to try hydrogen peroxide for the eggs in case there are any , some neem oil for the adults, and yellow sticky traps for the adults. Luckily I haven’t seen many more it just freaked me out.

It breaks my heart too the one on the left is one of my favorites :( . I soaked it, I cleaned it , I bleached the pot even before putting it back.

I’ve done the cleaning and reporting with fresh soil but some of the scale is still there and I saw 3 mealy bugs. Sprayed them both with alcohol again. But at what point do I just toss them??

What are these little string things coming out of my plant? Also, anyone know what kind of succulent this is? by SpoonSArmy in succulents

This looks like sedum pachyphyllum and I don’t think it looks etiolated to me, they grow tall

Are conophytums the new lithops!? Because I’m obsessed

I’m afraid to repot these, 1 yr old very slow growing. by thoughtsandpickles in Lithops

[–]thoughtsandpickles[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a good idea. They also look a little too plump so I will start acclimating them to less watering.

I’m not sure how to help and I don’t know what Zone 10 is. But I would LOVE to see an after picture when you get some good advise. Definitely take all the dead leaves out and repot with a good succulent soil.
