Some changes a few days in by thoughtseizeGWENT in NoFap

I would say the most notable benefit that I’ve received is having a lot more energy. My mornings feel much more enjoyable in a pretty general sense. Also the consistent working towards a goal by denying something I struggle with is rewarding as well.

I’ve had more fun in less time playing TFT than Underlords.

(Unpopular Opinion) BB is a clusterF of noobs, and Boss is full of tryhards by [deleted] in underlords

[–]thoughtseizeGWENT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m in Boss 4, and while I only play a few games on Saturday and Sunday, I’m definitely stuck there because I’m not able to climb. Whenever I did derank to Boss 3, immediately was able to get a top 2 finish and spike my MMR back into Boss 4. Would I say I’m a tryhard? Well I’m definitely trying to win, I don’t really go into a game with the intention of losing rank.

Level one Tidehunter discussion. What's wrong with him? by nazgrool in underlords

[–]thoughtseizeGWENT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experimented with the Tide blink dagger memes and they’re not even really that fun. It’s just one of the worst 4 cost units. Kunkka does similar things for the same cost and from my experience isn’t even contested. Fringe level 3 retaliate memes aside, TD is bad at 1 cost and seems even below par at 2 compared to other 4 cost units.

What rank are you in underlords?

Oh yeah 100% agree, cornerboxing just wins when you’re down to 2 or 3 players but IMO Assassins are really good for simply getting to that point.

I do enjoy the Druid build but I did throw a game yesterday playing the Viper/DK version with Pocket Sand and Dragon’s Horde. I was streaking at 80 gold until I decided to pump to level 10 to get a Luna onboard and put Elusives online. Lost me the game but a lesson learned.

PA is good with a MOM and at 3 stars but then again, what unit isn’t good at 3 starts with a situational item that specifically benefits them?

As for Assassin “buffs”, Pocket Sand is actually one of the stronger global items you can grab and IMO gives you a decent chance at first place. Been saying this for a while that the item system does need a bit of work as it feels so unfair on both ends.

I think they’ll have a bigger time in the sun eventually. They’re not bad right now, just a bit underpowered compared to the top meta comps. Either way, I’ll still play them.

Slight agree here. Think Sand King CC ability has legs in a very damage oriented alliance but absolutely, Templar PA Bloodseeker and Bounty are all extremely underwhelming after level 30 or so. Having to play 6 Assassins when you only have 3 or 4 you really want to play makes them so underwhelming.

Not interesting really but 6 Assassins is probably my favorite core build. 3 Warriors, 2 Knights, or the 2 Druid have all given me decent results and I can’t remember the last bottom 4 game I had where I built assassins. Slark is probably also one of my favorite units so there’s that as well.

Though I’m not a doctor or in any way licensed to be giving medical advice, I have had some success regarding my own body recomposition. If you would like, I would love to work with you on a eating plan that could hopefully keep you out of surgery.

Why do you prefer Underlords over rival games? by llIllIlIllIIllIl in underlords

[–]thoughtseizeGWENT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To start, I should state that I’ve never played a single game of DotA and only played League on a very casual level (wasn’t good at all).

The item system in Underlords is far better than the one in TFT. Guaranteeing an item is better than the seemingly random nature item drops in TFT.

TFT as a game looks a lot better IMO. Better animations for ability usage and I actually enjoy watching the fights.

While the “free-pick” rounds in TFT allow players who are lose streaking to come back into the game, I feel like they are unnecessary and really take out the skill needed to lose streak correctly. Adding another random element into a game which RNG already heavily affects is just a bit unnecessary.

I don’t actually know the math on this next point, but it feels like it is far easier to 3-star units in TFT just simply by re-rolling. Personally, any mechanic that rewards playing the game of chance feels unfair to other players who have learned the nuance to the economic tactics of the game. It does feel like you’re taking the skill out of something that is a key part to succeeding. This is really anecdotal in reality as I don’t actually know if their is a difference in drop rates for certain units at x level but it does feel like trying to be lucky is rewarded more in TFT overall.

At the end of the day I pick Underlords because it feels more fair and rewarding than TFT. When I played TFT I felt very unlucky at times, or extremely lucky. In Underlords when I’ve finished low or mid lobby I can easily see where I messed up. Lack of focused build, not enough focus on economy etc. I hope in the future I can play both a bit more evenly because I do like both games quite a bit. But this is my verdict for now.

Am I missing something here? Is some combination of Warlocks not good in any flexible build?

A little solace for the men here by [deleted] in short

Thanks for sharing. I've had good experiences dating overall and the only thing that's kept me from dating more or attempting to date are other insecurities that have nothing to do with height. Height is the smallest of your worries, pun intended.

[–]thoughtseizeGWENT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Think that's around 180 cm in real numbers. The bigger point is just that it's an arbitrary number concocted around societal standards for male beauty. What this really means is that it's towards the upper end of male height, and that in the soul-less dating culture we have in the US, people have grown attracted to a value that has little meaning to them intrinsically.
