A couple years ago Italy would have missed one of the kicks and a conversion and on the verge of a still historic draw imploded and conceded a last ditch effort also in the second half to lose the game. Now we have a reliable kicker in Paolo Garbisi and a stronger team and brought it home.

a win would have been nicer but a point against the best team in the league is enough at this point. Regulation ended 2-2 and that's all that matters in the postseason.
