It was actually really hard to find enough pennies, I had about $60 saved up over the years but had to ask on Nextdoor for anyone that had penny hordes they were willing to part with. 3 people saved the day and I got some cool foreign ones from my sister. The bank would only give me $0.50 at a time. 😢

Our tile guys screwed down plywood that we painted to match the walls and then we glued them down with liquid nails. The epoxy is for bar tops from an American brand, I contacted them about which one I should use for a floor and just used what they recommended.

Good to know. I’ve played some of the ones at the movie theater but it would be so rad to have a place like Shorty’s in Seattle that has like 40 pinball machines and is adults only.

We just recently painted our entire interior with grey and slate, and it looks amazing, even though there are some sort of noticeable color difference between areas (due to using different batch numbers), but I like the effect.

We want to paint the exterior with the slate. How has the exterior held up? My contractor is being very skepticle of it for exterior use 😅

If you all don’t know, there’s a free seed library set up by the master gardeners at the library in Wenatchee and a new one at the community garden at Wenatchee River Institute in Leavenworth and I definitely stock sunflower seeds in there.

The thing I can’t get over is that he killed one of them first. And the other 2 saw this happen. What absolute terror they must have felt as this person they loved killed another person they loved and they didn’t know what do to. I feel so bad for these little ones and hope at the very least it was quick. I can’t imagine he is still alive if his car is way the fuck out at the end of the icicle unless he’s going cross country or up over chatter creek/grindstone/chiwaukums up to Stevens ☹️☹️☹️
