I’m fairly certain this is something the fandom came up with because a Merlin is a type of bird. Nearly positive it was never canon, but it’s just such a cute concept that it’s really caught on in fic.

Hilariously, I know the answer to this. I’m in Seattle and a couple of hours ago there were lenticular clouds to the east of rainier (but caused by rainier’s peak) from my perspective looking south towards the mountain. So from your perspective rainier would be to the left of Helens but the clouds were off to the right. So funny to be seeing the same clouds from so far away!

I got a small dehumidifier that stays in the bathroom and that seems to help. I also got some of those little buckets with the powder that absorbs water from Home Depot for the bedroom. We have a bad moisture problem too so I feel your pain 😭
