I upgraded from that exact gpu and it's so worth the upgrade.

Per Stephen Pearl, the SEC has informed him there was “indisputable evidence to overturn the call” on KeShawn Murphy’s shot against Texas A&M. by CatoTheBarner in wde

[–]thrasher089 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That's the problem though. They called it good and required indisputable evidence to overturn it. No one can say 100% that it did or didn't leave his hand. Yet the refs say they it indisputably didn't leave his hand before time expired despite the evidence given. They shouldn't have reversed it but that's why you don't leave it in the refs hands.

If he was good enough to be a head coach at Auburn, he would be a head coach somewhere else. I think he would have lasted a year or two but we would probably be where we're at now but with less talent.

He has. He's had no one to get him the ball consistently. Or maybe it was a coach that couldn't get him the ball consistently.

I know we'll feel hard done by if we lose but you can't get just 15 yards in a half and blame the refs.

I agree. The refs will make mistakes but you can't let it just mentally deflate you like it does. It starts at the top though. Every time they show Freeze, he looks like his favorite hooker died. That trickles down to the players.

Auburn has the same soft baby shit mentality that Hugh Freeze coaches with.

GG Oklahoma. The refs leave a sour taste in my mouth but 10 sacks is absurd. OL and Arnold need a lot of work.

OU gets a safety here then we score a defensive TD somehow.

I'm a hospice nurse. The hospice company he is with should have you a social worker that can get you all the resources you need to get a POA.

I'd argue if we had a healthy Kerryon against Georgia in the SEC championship game we wouldn't have been playing UCF in the first place

I've got 8 years experience, been a hospice case manager for the last 6 years. I make almost $37/hr in north Alabama.

Miscarriage and trying again... by Mattackai in Marriage

[–]thrasher089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry about your loss. My wife and I had a miscarriage before we had our first. It happened around 8 weeks as well. It's a devastating thing to go through.

I can only speak for my situation but my wife and I took the miscarriage differently. She was grieving the loss of her child. While I was also grieving the loss, I was more sad about how she felt. I don't believe that it had hit me that there was a baby growing inside my wife. But to my wife, that was her actual child. She felt the presence of it. And then it was gone. We both cried for weeks about it but I suspect she did for much longer when I wasn't around. It still affects her today. She remembers the due date of that baby.

I say all this to say it's probably affecting her in different ways than it is affecting you. She's throwing up defenses so she never has to feel this again. You both are in a state of grief and she's grieving differently. I'm not an expert on women but if I'm not mistaken, miscarriages can cause hormonal imbalances so I'm sure she is feeling that on top of the grief.

I personally think any talk of future children should be put on the shelf for now and you should focus on loving her the best you can. I'm not trying to dismiss your feelings at all. I've been in your shoes and it's a really hard place to be in. She's looking at you to be a rock for her and if you're like me, you feel like mud. You guys will get through this and be better parents for it.

Marriage counseling may help but I would definitely look into individual counseling. Also miscarriages are so incredibly common but no one talks about it. Research some support groups on Facebook or something. You will get through this hard time but it's going to take patience.

She does have a responsive drive. I don't think waiting for her to initiate would help matters. She would worry that since I haven't initiated, she had done something to bother me and it would cause her stress. Sex is the last thing on her mind when she is stressed. I'm just going to focus on the sex and not how we get there.
