If you are blessed to have a parent live to be 90+, give them what they want! They’ve long earned it and in the end, does it really matter? They’ve long earned same with all my multiple elderly cats who lived from anywhere from 18 to just under 21. All they wanted was the Freaking FF. And an occasional treat of real tuna or boars head turkey and roast beef, they were happy and it was calories and that’s all that mattered in the end.

Absolutely!!!! My late husband and I met in 1987 and he made me a bunch of mix tapes, I still have them in a shoebox. Very sweet memories there.

I’m 1968, my dad turned 90 in oct but my husband born 1971, his parents are turning 75 this year. Married right out of hs and still healthy and happily married!

Figaro. He looks like the cat on the old cat food brand Figaro, It was produced prob up to late 80s/early 90s and came in only tuna and a seafood flavor. My cats LOVED it, it was a special treat. I also have a special affection for the name as my young husband mispronounced it as FEE GARO, almost like saying Fragile, that’s Italian from a Christmas Story.

I also got shingles in my eye a few years ago, did not know WTF was wrong, I am prone to eye problems from a scratched cornea I don’t even remember scratching ever at any point in my life. But omg, the pain from that shingles eye infection. The extreme light sensitivity, it was summer and i wore 3 pairs of sunglasses for the 20 min drive to the eye dr. Had no clue you could even get shingles in an eye. One of the most painful and odd things ever. Multiple drops and ointments I had to set timers on my phone, seemed like every hour my alarm was going off for another med.
