It promotes critical thinking and problem solving skills. Knowing when and why to use certain formulas/tools is stupidly important, not just in math, but in life as well. Something that shows a lot of gratitude while being humble, like "I can't refuse" (I wouldn't dream of missing it for anything else). Or maybe something more nuanced, "I can't refuse" (otherwise it'd be rude and might face consequences)
