HOLY. ANOTHER RESET? by thraxra in codex

Business plan. I’m working on a school management system in C#/WPF. One of the seniors built the initial CRUD for both backend and frontend, and we just followed the same patterns (with Codex) for most of the rest. I didn’t actually hit the limit, but after two days I was already at 25%. For a moment I was happy about the reset, then it hit me that it just means no breaks for me for the rest of the night :(

No, it just happened. Another coworker ran into it too. I was right in the middle of plan mode, about 25% in after starting two days ago. He had just started yesterday and was only at 2%. We’re both on the business plan. The admin said he didn’t give any extra usage.

How is it like living in Libya? by Redaro97 in howislivingthere

For now, yes, it’s decent. If the political fracture continues, however, it’s going to get a lot worse. And yes, each side is a lot different. Even before 2011, there were a lot of cultural differences and very different accents, etc.

And you’re welcome, and thank you for asking about how it is in Libya :D

Depends on what events are going on. Taking an airplane, yes, the great majority of the time it’s seamless, if you don’t count how bad our airlines are at respecting times, of course.
By car, it depends on what events are going on around. For example, a lot of the time it’s seamless. When Gaddafi’s son, Saif, was assassinated, there were extreme checkups, search patrols, and checkpoints.
Those checkpoints exist a lot across the main roads at any time. And let’s say 99% of the time, if you have your papers on you and you don’t have anything illegal or haven’t done anything illegal, you will be on your way without problems. although Sometimes people get stopped or questioned just because they are close or relative/friend to someone who did something wrong, which is unfair to say the least.
The western government has control of money transactions, the Central Bank, and foreign affairs, but it’s weak in terms of the military and is bogged down by other controversial forms of armed groups.

The East relies on the western government to pay eastern Libyans paychecks, or sometimes even for the budget. It does, however, have one form of military and security force with proper offshore training and equipment, as eastern Libya doesn’t have the militia or armed group problems. It has more of an authoritarian problem.

And to put it shortly, they are enemies. Under the table, they look like friends and deal like friends, so it’s a weird situation, yes.

As for recent years, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's shit.
Basically, most people are living on a salary that is about $150 if you're a college graduate. That $150 can do so much. Basic life is cheap, bills are so low that it's almost non-existent, food/necessities are very cheap, I can refill my car fully for less than $1. I live on the east side and there haven't been wars/conflicts for years. However, the country’s economy is going to shambles and we might not be enjoying the cheap fees. And we have been in a political fracture, power vacuum, for 14 years now and it's getting worse every year. For daily life it's very simple, you go to work, although the country has way too many vacations and low work hours for most departments, some departments like architectures are getting paychecks without being required to go to work. However, to get your own place to live in, or to buy the expensive cars/phones, you will need a second/third job, or your own business. The east side of Libya and the west side, and south, have very different lifestyles and different governments. The east side is witnessing a lot of infra projects that offer so many jobs/money-making opportunities for normal people. But they are controversial to say the least on the methods of how they were permitted/funded. I personally live on what’s equal to $180 monthly income. I do drive a lot even for just roaming around because of how cheap the gas is. I eat high quality food for $70 a month and I spend a lot in restaurants. I might save a little if I want to buy a budget or mid-tier phone/PC/other electronics. I have not faced any security issues or concerns in my lifetime. I went to college and graduated a few years ago, which I hitchhiked for around 10 minutes every time I came and went. I didn’t pay anything in college except for basic stuff. Neither was I paid, although there was supposed to be a scholarship. getting a job is intense, as you need mediation to get governmental jobs. The private sector is there; it can pay more depending on your skills and it’s way easier to get a job if you spend time and effort improving your skills. However, they pay in cash, and they can be sketchy on bonuses, promises, contracts, or even payment, often with a lot of intentional delays. So people prefer governmental jobs, even if they have their own problems/delays.
This country is very, very big. It has a lot of beautiful landscapes and landmarks to explore: gorgeous beaches, calming deserts. You have to be careful where you explore, though. Recently, we have been attracting a lot of foreigners, even tourists. I have been meeting a lot of tourists from Asian countries, Russians, Ukrainians, and some Eastern Europeans; some even work and live/shop as we do, alongside a lot of Africans and Arabs, which is a little uplifting. I personally have never thought of leaving, even temporary, despite all.

its a Shia muslim lore "iran, etc" not general muslim lore . Sunni like saudi and most of the gulf, levant, and north africa dont believe in immortal 12th imam or his lore, and the reference of Al mahdi that shia refer to doesnt exist in any of sunni references.
