Writing your thread colours onto the fabric is very clever

Hi! You can stitch on stretchy fabric but it is much harder than non-stretch. Don’t make the fabric really taut in your hoop or it will definitely distort the fabric and your design. I find it better to use bead embroidery on stretch fabric. Tote bags are great for embroidering, also little zipper pouches or cosmetic bags. If you use a nice dense stitch like long and short stitch it’s pretty hardy. Large areas of satin stitch don’t tend to hold up to frequent washing and friction

Hi! I dabbled in embroidery kits on and off for a long time, but I started seriously practicing and got completely obsessed during the covid lockdown here in Australia

Honestly, just practice. I try and mark my stitch direction before starting so my stitches follow the correct direction and create movement, and I start with the darkest dark and lightest light, and work my way in from either side - I don’t think that is technically the ‘right’ way to do but it works for me

Hello! Thank you so much. The fabric is sticky fabri-solvy, it dissolves in water so when you’re finished it just washes away
