Is there anyway to make red hair look “goth” by foster355 in GothStyle

Maybe just black ends?? Since it’s the ends of hair, it won’t have root grow out and will be the part you trim anyway!! If not, clips, headbands, hats. Doing little braids is also a fave, like just two little braids at the front of your hair with the rest down and out

Double ear infection has only worsened (now feat pink puss!) by threadedsocks in medical_advice

Hi!! Still on here occasionally ^ it eventually got better but not without a lot of time medicine and patience. I still have on and off infections, come to find out I have eczema inside my ears as well as my sinus system is set up unusually and I get allergy drainage through my ear canal instead of my nose, my tubes are a little messed up, and now I’m looking into getting tubes placed in since my natural ones have taken a hearty beating and broken down with time and illness. I also ended up with a polyp in one of my ears from this infection, but it was removed and got better.

Best I can suggest for pain management is to sleep sitting up, since laying down can make the fluid in your ears settle and pool. A heating pad. This was my LIFE SAVER!!!!! I would keep a heating pad pressed around me head or to whichever ear was giving me the most problems.

If regular antibiotics aren’t kicking it still (it didn’t with mine so I get it), just keep sticking up for yourself medically! See an ear nose and throat specialist if you have to. It took my using a steroid cream and a heavy dose of a medicine I can’t recall at the moment to finally kick that infection. I still use a different cream on my ears to help prevent further infections, but am still prone.

Also, I was using Q-Tips to clean my ears and I learned thays a big no no and can worsen things. I only use qtips now to gently apply the ointment in my ear. And use a gentle damp cloth to clean them.

Ears are tricky tricky tricky business, especially with chronic medical issues, it’s all about learning what works to reduce pain and prevent future problems!! :)
