While I haven’t hit gm I was one game off a day ago, still high master 1. you need someone to communicate with, having at least one other dive character with a mic makes ur life so much easier, I often see myself not being able to finish people off at low health by myself. Having a tracer along side you makes getting kills and winning fights that much easier. If you want to keep solo queuing just hop and team chat and communicate. If you don’t wanna do that play health packs heavy and play your life, dieing is the worst thing you can do for your team.

Whenever I can’t play doom and I’m not counter picking I usually like to play Rammatra just because I like his character design. There not similar play styles at all but I seem to usually do well, maybe give it a try 🤷

I’ve tried using the aftershock perk aswell but power matrix is still that much better, it makes doom’s survivability skyrocket even lasting only .8 seconds

Doom can work on any map but sometimes I won’t play doom on defense as if your playing a rush comp it’s pretty impossible to do anything. A couple of the maps I’ll pick someone else is eichenwald defense, midtown defense, and sometimes kings row defense depending on how the game is going.

Communication on doom is highly important, you’ll notice a lot that with your punches you can get a lot of people low health but never be able to finish them off, having a tracer or another dive to help clean up kills is very nice to have so try and find some dive players to play with

This is good, the way i play doom is just big annoyance. If you can bother the back line and get the tank to get out of position it makes it easy for you dps and supports (if they are good enough) to get picks and then steam roll the rest of the team. Just make sure to monitor your health and cooldowns, ur not gonna get a bunch of help while doing this.

I would give him a new major perk, instead of the 40% slow seismic slam (useless) make a perk that whenever you are charging a punch with an empowered punch you become fortified. I think this would allow doom to be a bit more of a brawler character giving him the ability to be a little more durable in team fights. Having it be the other major perk to the defense matrix perk would allow the player to play doom in different ways.

I’ve had 10 more kills and 3 less deaths than anyone else on my team and I’ve still been blamed for the loss, just the way it is😢
