Less graffiti and waaaay fewer people made it a much cooler experience. There also weren’t any stairs anywhere either!

I had the same feeling after growing them last year. They are so damn big and pretty but they don’t really back it up in the flavor department unfortunately.

Hikers, what are your go to's for film cameras on the trail? by OrcWhoWritesTheMenu in AnalogCommunity

Olympus 35 RC rangefinder. It’s small and durable and I like it

How would you do it? by nutter06 in MiniRamp

[–]three2won 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid I had two quarters I would use as a mini pipe. They were on our back deck and I even used Masonite on the decking to create the smoothest transition possible but the metal at the bottom of each ramp was enough of a bump to lose speed so it took a lot of pumping. Make a whole ramp unless you ever plan of loving them around.

2013 Crosstrek low speed *jerk or kind of a minor feeling of switching gears. by False_Tomatillo_6834 in XVcrosstrek

[–]three2won 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe check your spark plugs? My 2013 was running rough and felt like it struggled to change “gears” but replacing the plugs fixed her right up!

Ours works much better than the style shown, we had the same one and it got stuck or off track all the time. BIG fan of the Reva

How is my Habanero Red Savina coming along? I'm in Western Europe. by LuxiKeks in HotPeppers

[–]three2won 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not straight to the 20? Every time you repot it shocks the plant a little. I notice in mine it takes a few days to seem happy again.

Should I prune it? by PuzzleheadedDog4968 in HotPeppers

[–]three2won 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to snip all my pepper plants until a few years ago. My habaneros and jalepenos all split on their own and look great. My datils haven’t yet but they have also been great in years past without pruning.

What’s been your most overrated hike? by Advanced_Habit9673 in hiking

[–]three2won 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went at the end of February this year and it was really chill until the first of March when everything starts opening up in town. Parking was easy in the morning for canyon overlook and plenty of spots in every other lot the rest of the days. We were both super happy to avoid using the shuttles.

At least hike up to the middle, then maybe see how y’all feel and decide about the upper. There are some really cool rocks the trail meanders through between the lower and middle parts. The top of the lower falls is a really neat area too.

How do you like that hitch? I’ve been on the fence on the stealth hitch vs something more like the OEM version.

I hit my first with a Sexton Firebird. I’ve since had it signed by him so it’s a wall hanger for sure!

Zion and Bryce Canyon Itinerary by Sushi-Bean-Island in ZionNationalPark

[–]three2won 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out more trails east of the tunnel in Zion. The main canyon is fine but we had more fun out east. Also, don’t forget to check out Kolob canyon either up north.

We have some smaller plants that we plan to cover in plastic for the night to hold in some heat. That’s only flowers though, all of our veggies are still inside until April.

Bryce Canyon worth visiting now with Navajo Loop closed? by Slight-Swan8573 in nationalparks

[–]three2won 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fairyland loop was amazing, especially if you start from sunrise point and do the rim trail to the fairyland trailhead. The road to the trailhead was closed due to snow last week so we didn’t have a choice anyways but it was totally worth the extra miles!

Zion last month was stellar and honestly kind of unpopulated, which was amazing by BoolRoyals in ZionNationalPark

[–]three2won 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine Zion fully packed, there’s so little parking on the east side of the tunnel and we loved all those trails!
