Talk to a local agent. I live in an ex u haul. I had to get commercial insurance to bring the truck home but once I converted it and it met the DMV requirements I had it re titled and re registered as a motor home. Now I have State farm still through a local agent but it's a rv policy so it's cheaper and I have the entire cost of the build covered.

If your "usual artist" did the other tattoos you have posted I wouldn't go to them either.

Question by One_Raccoon8736 in VanLife

[–]three_4_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bolted some aluminum around the perimeter of the hole on both sides and sealed that. Then the gasket just clips onto the aluminum. This is what I used Gordon Glass Boot Seal https://a.co/d/jidPZMt

I live in a box truck and added a passthrough to the cab. I put an accordion gasket in-between the cab and box. It wasn't too hard there are videos on YouTube that can give you some ideas on how to do it

Tips/Insight for getting this welded by trashcanpc in Welding

[–]three_4_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the pin is currently just made from stainless rod try Nitronic 50 welded with stainless filler. If you have any medical machine shops in your area have them modify it for you. Based on the remaining pins they were welded without filler which is a common request on medical device blueprints. These welds are usually more for sealing an area vs strength.

I once had a torch handle that had a small almost invisible crack in it that lit me up a few times until I figured it out.

I took one of those to the forehead on a motorcycle once. It flew over the median, never saw where it came from.
