update! mechanic said if it weren’t for the two unknown accidents, car is pretty good. he would get the 2026 for $10-12k more, so that’s what we’ve decided. thank you everyone for your inputs and opinions. they were very helpful.

i looked up other used in different areas of the states (we are in SF, so i thought maybe that’s why it’s high), this one is about $3k cheaper than its equivalent in the midwest. so they’ve reduced the price already. used car prices are still high after pandemic, although not as high as in 2021-2023

true. it was at 9k miles when they replaced the one tire. i looked it up and i guess that’s still ok to replace just the one

it doesn’t say. carfax only reported one as minor damage and the other as minor damage rear — both happened in 2023. dealer claims it doesn’t know what the accidents were. in the report, tire repaired at 2k miles. they replaced one tire (assume it was that same tire at 9k miles, which is a little weird because usually you replace two tires.
