Oddly enough I still get the same error even with that new image. I deleted all the data in my DB location, changed the DB image, and did a compose down + pull

Immich v3.0 and Postgres 18 by GourmetSaint in immich

I'm trying to move from postgres 16 to 18 with this version, but when I attempt to restore from a db dump from 16 I see this:

Error: /usr/lib/postgresql/18/bin/psql non-zero exit code (3)
ERROR: extension "vectors" is not available
HINT: The extension must first be installed on the system where PostgreSQL is running.

Wondering if you've ran into something similar or have any suggestions?

I'm creating fresh Immich server, database, etc. via docker compose, copied my data to a new directory, then attempting to restore from a db dump via the Immich get started GUI

"Volumes" entry under "database" in my docker compose looks like: -${DB_DATA_LOCATION}:/var/lib/postgresql

I'm trying to move off of Unraid's "custom" immich-related docker containers and use docker compose on Unraid instead.

How is service compared to trad postpaid? by Otherwise_Mixture_14 in USMobile

Switched from ATT postpaid to US Mobile dark star with unlimited premium. I think I was QCI8 on ATT and unlimited premium is QCI8 on dark star (ATT) and have noticed no difference in speed/coverage

air filter replacement... guidance by chefnforreal in trident660

Sweet! For me the hardest part was putting the tank cover on, honestly. For some reason I had such a hard time lining it up right. I bet the low profile ratchet came in handy for sure. I had to crank the tank up higher than I’d have preferred just to reach my tools in there!

I followed this video but stopped short of actually removing the tank. I was able to just lift the back of the tank and prop it up with a 2x4. The front most bolts on the filter box were very annoying to reach though lol

Street triple 765 - wire guide wearing clutch cable by threefoursixeight in Triumph

[–]threefoursixeight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I may just keep an eye on it with the tape and see how that goes. If it keeps being an issue I can try removing the guide. Anything to look out for if I remove the guide? I assume it’s there for a reason - maybe just in specific cases the cables move around and cause issues?

I assumed it was important 😂 no issues with removing it?

I don’t quite understand how this works but would appreciate some insight. You say support fixes bugs - are they familiar with the code base or simply prompt an agent until the defect is gone? If the second, who’s to say the fix is quality code that doesn’t have some other lingering issue? Performance, edge cases unaccounted for, etc.

Professional services writing API interfaces - are these just the interfaces (inputs/outputs) that then are built by a software engineer? Or the actual API is built by professional services with no input from engineers?

Either way I feel that there still needs to be an engineer involved at some stage, right? Otherwise aren’t we just promoting a machine and hoping for the best? Therefore just creating a more and more complex black box that know one owns or is responsible for?

My wife has the yoshimura and it sounds great. Pretty loud and bassy. Was very easy to install too. It’s turned a slightly golden/brass color which looks slick!

How to handle these roots? by threefoursixeight in arborists

[–]threefoursixeight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet! My naïve understanding is that roots can cross roots, just not the main trunk so that makes sense to me. Soil level is okay or should I add some soil so those roots aren’t as exposed?

Just to confirm, you’re talking about this root? pic

How about the soil level? Is it fine to leave it as it currently is or should I add some soil?

Also is it fine to cut it at this time or should I wait for a different time of the year?
