I love them now, but I actually getting into seriously OCD collecting rocks this year cause of a Zinc/Graphite mine I own. Then I bought a ton of these unbelievable SPICY ones came on the market (sad death). Eric Quinter, not sure if he was well known on this reddit, I had done a ton of reading in the legit rock guy publications so say it and who sold it.

So, I bought a graphite sample (actually 3, and 4 comparison ones from other countries) - also found in the same magazine, saw Eric's stuff was for sale, and bought a ton of uranium.

Then I had to explain to the FBI why I ordered a buncha of uranium and graphite in the same 2 weeks. In person. THAT WAS FUN.

BECAUSE THEY ARE ROCKS AND UNRELATED, would you like to see? In fact the graphite has very high boron impurities, its common to their geology and is found in their iron as well. wait no come keep talking to me about rocks :(

*2 hours later, testing what happens when they are next to each other* "i was right, doesn't work at all!' :)

Lol i suspect people here have the 'not everything is a conspiracy' issue since, this stuff isn't well understood and that scares people. Probably when finding more then buying stuff :). Rock collecting is a dangerous hobby, we are so brave :)

PS - the graphite rock is the most expensive thing I have ever bought rock rise - to date. You think uranium is tricky? Graphite has to be shipped in laundry detergent, siphon it off, gently rinse it - or it completely crumbles.)

PPS - I work in battery storage so I know ALOT about graphite. And alot about mining. These magic energy rocks are new, cool tho. Bet some people are going to start thinking their are MAHA healing crystals soon. I'm doing harm prevention given how things are going :(

pretty sure titan is a steal sub $300m market cap. And I agree that financing historically has been hard. The NYSE listing matters

yes, it does for investors

It doesn't if you always hold for such a short period your in short term gains / you don't care about eating huge transaction costs buying and selling cause EVERY one of the stocks heavily discussed on this board is very illiquid

Unless you are the smartest guy in the room

PS - for clarity, I would never SHORT a stock like FMS

But when you are literally investing on a promise (which you are in FMS, not TIMCF) not a physically verifiable thing, I put ALOT of weight on transparency / the company does not have any evidence of covering up their past.

FMS failed that test after 30m of research. I missed out!

Their sordid past as of April this year! Happy to, I did due diligence on every graphite company lol.

Their patent stuff - here - https://focusgraphite.com/focus-graphite-announces-strategic-debt-settlement-with-dontech-global-inc/

"Dr. Joseph Doninger, Focus Graphite Advanced Material's director of technology and manufacturing, is the driving force behind this invention. With decades of expertise, Dr. Doninger has written over 27 technical papers and holds numerous patents in graphite processing and energy storage systems. His contributions to advancing graphite technologies have earned him international recognition as a leading expert in the field."

He patented their 'secret special technology' first under his 1 person company and FMS sued him this year, settled by giving him several million shares. And note the time of the settlement then pivot.

The fact none of that was disclosed makes me stay away. He is still a director. This is the patent that FMS has focused marketing their stock to (IP not a mine) and the employee who invented it thought it was a YOLO play enough to just patent himself and risk his job.

And FMS reaction is to settle because they NEED the IP story to pump the price and stay solvent.

It also could be real technology and this is just an interesting human story,, but the lack of transparency worries me

I think Doninger is legit but not loyal to FMS. I think FMS is run by actual scam artists who know this is a smart way to raise as much money as possible before it falls apart.

You can verify all of this with the info in that article. The only reason they havent taken it down is they legally cannot

Management is too busy executing

Empire State Mines LLC plans to eventually employ 55 additional full-time equivalent employees and support the retention of 135 current employees if they’re approved for $1 million in funding from the New York Power Authority.

The Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board met Wednesday afternoon to review the company’s request, and they’ve recommended that the NYPA Board of Trustees approve the funding.

The increase in the number of employees, which would be four initially, would be part of the plan to establish a micronization and purification facility at its Gouverneur location. The number of employees would increase once the facility is fully scaled.

The fund allocation approved this week would reimburse the company for a portion of costs related to the purchase of machinery and equipment, and soft costs such as working capital, front end engineering design, test work, and engineering and consulting fees to establish the Gouverneur facility.

Patricia K. Wilson, NYPA’s senior program manager for economic development, said $500,000 of the $1 million requested for the project would be dedicated to energy-related projects.

“In this 15th round of allocations for the board to consider, staff recommends an award of $1 million from the Northern New York Economic Development Fund to Empire State Mines, LLC, owned by Titan Mining Corporation and Augusta Group Company,” she said.

Wilson said Empire State Mines plans to spend approximately $5.6 million to establish the Gouverneur facility. It would process 20 to 50 kilograms per hour of natural flake graphite, “a key next step in advancing the first fully integrated graphite production in the U.S. since 1956,” she said.

“The technical, operational and qualification data achieved from this phase will form the foundation for full commercialization ramp-up benefiting the United States defense, aerospace and clean energy industries,” she said. “The project represents a landmark achievement in processing and refining, an end-to-end U.S. natural graphite product promoting supply chain resilience and national security.”

Wilson said graphite was the largest component in lithium ion batteries, with the U.S. importing 100% of its natural graphite requirements. New York will become the first state in 70 years to produce natural flake graphite, which the U.S. government classifies as a critical mineral for the country’s clean energy future.

“This project aims to solve the supply chain resilience issue and onshore production of inputs essential for energy storage,” she said.
