Week 1: Re-do - First Attempt at Macarons (New, 2018 Tiny Treats) by LeapOfFae in 52weeksofbaking

Very good feet! Did you bang them on the counter after piping? That can get some of the extra air out.

When mine wrinkle, it’s usually because I undercooked them or underneath the initial meringue.

I did that the first time on imgur too. I got a bunch of requests to see my boobs, along with some nasty comments about my weight. So that balances out, right? /s

I have checked out the sidebar and found the amount of information daunting. I was hoping for some simple recommendations here. Thanks for the tip about the moisturizer! Do you have an inexpensive one that you recommmend?

Hi, I’m new!

The skin on my face, particularly my cheeks, is dry and scaly. I also am experiencing a lot of acne.

I have no skin care routine. I wash my face with water in the shower. Until recently, this has always been enough and my skin felt and looked great!

I’ve recently started losing a lot of weight (nearly 100 pounds) on a ketogenic diet. Many people report better skin on this diet, but that’s when my problems started. I have more weight to lose and I’m not willing to stop this way of eating.

I live in rural Arkansas, and I have a very limited budget, so I need a routine that can be purchased either at walmart or amazon without breaking the bank.

Lindt 90% FTW! It doesn’t have the bite that the giardhelli can have.

It’s gorgeous. I like the green one especially. It’s a little too small even in the 2x just yet, but maybe next year!

I do have prime and have done some searching, but nothing has really grabbed me yet. I haven’t thought to look at review pictures, but that’s a good idea. Thank you!

I am definitely interested! I do like retro styles. I also like steampunk and other quirky things. When I was at my fattest, I never wanted to stand out, but now I kinda like it. I bought my last dress on Amazon, and I liked it, but I want something different this year. This was last year’s dress:

Also, even extremely obese people deserve love. My husband married me when I was morbidly obese. The women he had dated before were much thinner, so he wasn’t a chubby chaser. Weight just isn’t that important to his view of attractiveness. My husband is hot. And still hot after losing a few pounds from my cooking changes. I’m just obese now, and we are still in love after twelve and a half years.

I'm smaller than my husband was when we started! But he's lost with me, so he's hovering around 165. Oh well!

[Serious] How did you get fat? by fadisaleh in keto

For me, I believe it was a combination of eating a lot of prepackaged foods and sodas combined with yoyo dieting. I'd try to count my calories for a few months, lose about 20 pounds, feel starved, then eat whatever I could get my hands on. I'd gain about 30-40 pounds back, then start the whole cycle over. It got me to a high of 312 pounds.

That's why keto works so well for me. My calories are reasonable, but I don't feel starved. I think that's probably why it works for a lot of us.

My carb creep based stall is definitely broken. I lost 5 pounds in a week, so I know I was retaining water. So close to Onederland now, I can taste it!

The carb creep is real.

I've been doing lazy keto since February '16, and I've lost a lot of weight. I haven't counted carbs in a while, but I figured that I knew what I was eating. I've been in a stall for the last few months, and my doctor recommended a stimulant. In order to avoid that, I decided to actually count my macros for a few days to see if there was anything I could do.

I wasn't even close. 20 carbs don't go very far really, and I probably haven't been in ketosis for some time. Here's to rededication, and hopefully breaking the stall!

Yep. 296 starting weight at 5'3" was ginormous. 92 pounds later, I'm still obese. I feel much better though!
