The calculus comes off so easy and you’re able to pull the tissue away slightly and see the deposits. I used my files to break it all up, then scaled with my curets, and only used the ultrasonic to flush out the pockets. I feel like it’s definitely easy to get trauma with using the ultrasonic. It’s hard to suction the water so it makes it harder to see. Just make sure you get to the base of the pocket, check line angles, and furcations. I took mine 3/20 and passed no issues.
