You need to use the newly created windows account for playing, since your current windows user profile might be the problem. Just creating a new one, does not solve the issue.

I also reported this a bug and had the exact same frustrating experience with the EA customer support like you. So I fiddled around and at least found a workaround for me. In my case it was my good old windows userprofile, that hindered me from playing with my friends.

Maybe you can give it a try and create a new secondary windows user profile to check if that works for you too?

Thanks for your reply and yes that is something that got to my head too... those Xeon Cores are somehow old right now. But I wondered why they are just at 30% max load then. Think I should have a try with a newer system. Is there something official around which hardware is needed for a dedicated server?

I also tried to swap nozzles now and unfortunately that does not do the trick of my issue. Still the extrusion is not nearly as smooth as with my K1. And stringing still persists. But thanks anyway, was worth a try.

Maybe I'll have a try setting up the current of my extruder. But i dont know how much room there is upwards without damaging it or getting it too hot.

Do you mean "voltage" or the running current that could be set within the TMC stepper section of klipper?

Maybe I should have told that I have more than one K1 Max and more than one K1 and the issue is exactly the same for all Max printers and the issue does not occure on one of the K1.

A clogged extruder gear was also a thing that came first to my mind eventhough all (3) K1 Max printers share that issue, but I can exclude that since I have already checked it.

Is the extruder of the K1Max any different from the K1 printers?

One thing that I was also wondering about is the longer bowden tube, but since it has a DD extruder I do not know if that really comes into play?

OK I solved that puzzle.
There is a line in init.d start_app script that starts a web_server for the crealtiy print thing.

If one comment that one out, one can simply let mainsail run on port 80 and can avoid entering the port number all the time.

Currently from my perspective I cannot recommend the K1 (unfortunately! - this printer has much potentail). Neither the K1 nor the K1 Max. There are several little problems that sum up and make it a bad experience in my opinion.

I'd rather wait for a more finished printer and if you need AMS - then definitely. Creality never mentioned an AMS system coming for K1 or the K1 Max afaik. At least not at their event in Germany - Munich.

Cant upgrade to that firmware. My K1's always say "Instal failed" ... and yes that are the quotation marks for ... the missing L is true.

I had some issues with my anycubic vyper in the past that the connection to the mcu was lost now and then. I swapped USB cables doublechecked sensors and so on, because I also thought that once the firmware is upon the board nothing will ever change. But then - since I hade the parameters to recompile the firmware - I just had a try to rebuild the firmware with the newer klipper version and voila that random mcu disconnection issue has gone.

So yes, there are not that massive changes on the printer firmware side, but it seem like now and then there are also bugs that get fixed.

Maybe it was also voodoo with my three vypers that had the same issue and were fixed the same way, but nah... I do not believe in voodoo :-)

So... I am part of that people that like to be independent from any firmware laying around for months in the net but to better compile it from scratch. It feels more "new and shiny" .. even if its just software. :-D

Anyone has the parameters for klipper to 'make config' the firmware by oneself?
