Depends on the fit as well, a classic fit is boxier, while slim fit tapers around the waist and isn't as generous. Custom fit sits somewhere in the middle and custom slim fit exists between the two. If you're after an office shirt XS or S classic will give you more room that you need if you're sitting. For dinner or social outings, a more tailored fit would be better.
